Why did they not do the tank cover and fairing with the weave matching on each side with a V down the centre? The imperfections is a simple fact if you use out of autoclave carbon and don't have a good painter to do the clear coat. How much did the kit cost? It does look nice, just a shame they split the mould across the tank cover and not down the centre as the line where the mould halves are is quite visible. I split my fuel tank moulds to work with the design of the weave where possible so any line is hidden by the change of direction. But then I have been doing stuff like fuel tanks and body work for road guys who are picky as well as BSB, WSBK and some GP bikes for a few years now.

Wow thanks Richard! Let me shoot those questions to the guys, I’m unfamiliar with the process so this is super helpful. This is just an initial run, i definitely think there’s room for improvement.

Will need to put race shields on the lower belly...if me I'll do a full one so the carbon will have less damage..also probably i will follow the colors of your bicycle for the decals to make it visible..😅
