Mike Georgiadis The difference in gaming performance is negligible if you get some fast ram for Ryzen. Higher ram speed greatly reduces core to core latency since infinity fabric speeds changes with ram clock speed. Over 15% fps gains in the Witcher 3 @1080p with 3600mhz ram on ryzen compared to 2133. With the price of the i5 they could've gotten the 1600x for the same price for more cores threads and cache. Could also save some more money and get the non x varient since the two are basically the same since you can overclock the non x 1600 to the same speed as the x version. Also, the am4 platform is going be great for future proofing to new amd chips. With coffee lake you'll need to get a new board.
Because NCIX's a sinking ship, he know he will get fire very soon and those preorder computer are a scam since they will never be able to get the part since supplier blacklisted them. Your cc gonna get charge when you confirm you want one and preorder it.
Yes. My PC, ignoring some replacement fans, thermal compound, OS, etc, is around the $1700 and blows this one out of the water as far as performance is concerned.
Because I Bought The Same Gpu For 200$, That Is Without Rebates and free shipping, My PC Is Nothing Special water-cooled 1070 Aero not any fancy hardline tubing but the same thing goes for my R3-1600 It Only Cost Me 1400$. I Am Just Saying I Know It Says "Central Pahk" But Thats The Only Thing Special About It I Would Recomend Building Your Own Pc.....
I do love this channel and keyes, but this PC is a terrible build. Ryzen would have been a much better choice, ESPECIALLY because you say you're editing videos and more cores benefits that workload more than IPC and frequency. The 1060 3gb is also a terrible price/performance card because of the 10% gimp compared to the 1060 6gb. A RX 580 4gb is the same price with much better performance. Overall the PC is terrible price/performance wise, even for such a flashy and good looking build.
i like the idea of the build and it looks very nice and all, but $1600 usd for a 7600k and a damn 3 gig 1060? you could have easily had a 1070 and a ryzen 7 1700 for video editing at that price point. if i'm wrong then sorry :/
lol, tried not to make an over the top build, but has three mag-lev fans, goes with 7600k instead of the 1600X for creative productivity and EK 240 kit
Wow, this PC seems to be way too expensive. For a content creator with a CA$2000 budget wouldn't this build be better? PCPartPicker part list: ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/b9xwBP CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 1700X 3.4GHz 8-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-D15S 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard: MSI - B350 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3000 Storage: Samsung - 960 EVO 500GB M.2-2280 Video Card: Asus - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Dual Series Case: Inwin - 303 Black Power Supply: SeaSonic - 520W 80+ Bronze Fully-Modular Total: $1986.79
I'm not sure how the Central Pahk saying would go down in Australia, it just sounds like I'm saying Central Park Damn our accursed beautiful sexy accents :'(
Why is it so expensive? I spent $1680 on a Cooler Master Silencio 652s, i7 6700k, EVGA 1070 Hybrid FTW, EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750w, Seagate FireCuda 2TB, Samsung 960 Pro 512GB M.2 SSD, 16GB of 3200Mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4, MSI z170a Gaming M7, and a Cooler Master Hyper 612 Ver.2. I mean, that's pretty close to an apples to apples comparison to the Central Pahk build as far as budget is concerned, and my build is far more powerful. I mean, it's not as pretty, but the fact that every single part is more performant than the ones that were selected for the Central Pahk build seems a little more important. I love the aesthetics, but the price point on it is hardly budget friendly.
Mid-through video.... Intel i5 7600K..... Argh!!!! I anticipated wrong. Never mind. Maybe the Carbon Nanotubes version will be either Ryzen or Threadripper.
Wow, what a terrible value pc. For this money I built my Ryzen 7 1700 with 32 CL16 3000 memory, got a 500Gb m.2 pro with a 2TB HD, a Seasonic PSU, and threw in a 580. And I'm in Europe.
2:31 :2000$ Cad[...] Witch is kinda a representation of how lame it is to be a PC Enthusiast In Canada..In USA that's around 1600$ Me: Well , In Romania (My country) that PC would of costed 6192.26 Ron
it's looking gorgeous but for 1600 dollars I bought a PC with ryzen 1600x and GTX 1080 ti in the Nzxt s340 elite case. I don't know why the i5 processor is being liquid cooled though 🤦♂️
You mean to tell me that a PC that costs $2000 CAD can't have a PSU with black cables....you've got a great window (+ decal) and crappy looking ketchup mustard cables. Really. the NCIX builders couldn't do better than that?
That cost 1600 usd??? WTF??? It's easy to make a build with r5 1600 and gtx 1070 for less than 1100, and that would whoop this piece of overpriced crap in both productivity AND gaming
Central Pahk *Noun:* A public park in central Manhattan, New York City *Interjection:* used to express general positive sentiment/agreement. "Ah, Central Pahk"
Central pahk the drinking game: fill your cup w your favourite alcoholic beverage. Drink every time he says central pahk! Advanced mode. Make sure you take off the little man from your cup before drinking. Put him back on afterwards. If you accidentally drink the little man, or forget to put him back on, you have to drink again. Drink responsibly
Guess all the money went into the cooling loop and the custom work on the case...because the way under powered graphics card and cheap looking power supply (those colored cables look like hell) puts out a bad buzz kill.
This computer looks amazing but I could not in all honesty recommend anyone buy this. You could build your own computer with a 7700k and a 1070 for the same price being 2k canadian. I understand the extra costs with the EK liquid cooled setup and also the custom work on the case but still. Im sorry I love central pahk but this pc is not central pahk.
why $1600 for a i5 and a 1060 3gb? i can build that same setup for around $900. and this pc is for gaming but not content creation with 4c/4t cpu should of went ryzen 5 or ryzen 7 for $100 more imo
Wants the power a content creator needs without breaking the bank.. puts a 4 core 4 thread i5 kaby lake in it likely for more than ryzen 1600 or 1700 at a push.. wtf o_0
I couldn't tell if you actually found this funny to make or that you're pissed off that your original idea didn't actually go through to the design team.
EK makes an aluminum 360 radiator to go with their aluminum series kits now so using the hollowed out fan was kinda unnecessary tbh but nice ingenuity thoe.
