I have found my cowboy hat after long last! I want to thank Wesley, Roy, and the entire staff at M.L. Leddy's. To say the least, they were extremely gracious and hospitable. Go to this store for any of your cowboy / cowgal needs!
Thank you sir! It takes no time at all practically to give money and put a smile on someone's face. And heck yeah! He was super skilled! Thanks for watching!
Listen man, the fit of a hat is very important here at the Dimmsdale Dimmadome, owned by Doug Dimmadome, ring em up on the Doug Dimmaphone and throw em a Doug Dimmabone and enjoy your new hat from the Dougsdale Dimmadome, owned by Doug Dimmadome
Hey man! Thanks for letting me know! There definitely was waaaaay too much talking. My apologies on that! I will limit my commentary to a much more reasonable amount next time. Thanks for watching! 🤠
Fr! The customer service and explanation of the whole hat fitting process was amazing! And hey what can we say...we only hope to be as cool as you Mr. Will! 🤠
Missed a great opportunity. Sure Leddys is good but right down the street is the Best Hat Store. They are an icon in the area and only sell cowboy hats. They are the best.
Where were you when I was looking for recommendations?! In all seriousness, thanks for the info! I asked a local in the previous video so he directed me to Leddys. Now I have a wealth of knowledge! Thanks for the comment sir!
Truly love seeing this process. But man you really need a shotgun mic and some wireless mics even just plugged into your phone. Rode wireless 2 mics are cheap and will make these videos soooo much better. EDIT: LOVE seeing you tip that gentlemen. Being in the service industry I always love when someone goes above and beyond even when "it's their job". So I appreciate you.
Sir! Thanks for taking the time to not only watch, but give some very helpful feedback! I apologize for the mic quality. My GoPro overheated in the Texas heat, so I was stranded with only my phone during the fitting process. Sorry for that! :( And as far as the tip goes, of course! The gentleman went above and beyond for me, and being able to give back is one of life's amazing blessings. Hope you enjoy the other videos! :)
@@SmartAlecVlogs honestly the phone video isn't the weak point. It's not perfect, but phones do amazing jobs at recording video. All I could hear was what your buddy was saying unless super loud. But it's so cool how they do that. It answered a lot of questions I had about how they make cowboy hats. Keep it up man.
Understood! I really value this feedback, and you can bet your boots in the next series I will improve on the audio. Thanks so much for supporting me brother!
Rick! Thanks for the feedback sir! I completely concur on that. Me and my brother (the gentleman recording) think alike, so sometimes we both talk at the same time. Thanks for the recommendation, I will implement that in the next series!
"I need to look like a proper Texan" ..... coming from this "guy", that is an awefully tall order, you might try looking like an LA Princess, easier task......
Where did this backwards hat look come from?? The pointy part needs to be in front pointing foreword. Flat brim in front is RIDICULOUS! The dorkest look ever.
My apologies! A bit inexperienced still on vlogs and staying silent in these key moments. Thanks for great feedback, I will be implementing that in the next series! ☺️
Not bad but a lot of nonsense talk that is unnecessary. I gave a thumbs down then realized you are a new channel and learning. so change to a thumbs up.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I completely agree with what you said. I am still a novice vlogger, and I am learning the ropes still! Thank you for taking the time to tell me, as it allows me to improve. Next time way less nonsense talk! Really appreciate the like too! 🤠
My apologies! Inexperienced vlogger here, and it shows! Next time I will ensure the filming is better and the talking is kept to a minimum! Thanks for at least trying the video out sir! 🤠
How dare you suggest I went with a basic hat! All jokes aside sir, I went with that hat because it was my first ever cowboy hat, and I personally liked how it looked. Should I get another, I will be more adventurous! Thanks for the comment! 😁
The open crown and flat brim of a new hat is made for the purpose of shaping the hat into various styles to meet the customer’s request and satisfaction which is lost in the current one shape fits all style. When a hat shape becomes a fashion, a factory press is all that is needed. I was a “hatter” in the 70’s who shaped 1,000’s including the colored hats on the ZZ Top Fandango album cover requested by Billy Gibbons. He wanted something different!
