It's pretty straightforward. A 5/16 inch rod with a length adjustment is connected with ball joints to the two speed control plates on the hydrostatic transmissions. The forward rear axle is controlled by the tractor's normal speed control lever, and the second (rear) transmission is essentially slaved to the forward transmission. Syncing them involves jacking both axles off the floor and running them while adjusting the length of the connecting rod between the two transmissions so the two axles move at the same speed, or at least close. Doesn't need to be exact to work well.

Of course he's getting rid of it. He's going to sell it to me, for cheap. Right? Right?? :)

brakes are connected together, yes. The rear end is the reservoir--it holds almost 2 gallons. Remember, it's a double acting cylinder, so as fluid enters one side of the piston, fluid from the other side returns to the tank.

they are hydrostatic transmissions, so there are no "shifters" as you might imagine for a gear drive transmission. There is only a single control rod that ties the two trunnions together so both hydrostats operate in tandem. I think the video shows this in one of the pictures.

Well, yes, they both drive, but are still independent axles.

The rear axles are a bit over 24 inches on center. So 23 inch diameter tires are about inch apart. The closer they are together, the better it will turn (less tire scrubbing).

The pump can run either way, and can be a pump or a motor. Don't remember the GPM but I'd guess 1 or 2 gpm.

Looking to add quick connections to run a dump cart and snow blades ext, also in the future want to build a hydraulic drivin sickel mower so I can Clean my ditches up easier with out worry of the angle it'll ride at. 1 or 2 gpm will not run a sickle mower very well. You'll want at least 6 gpm. Remember, HP is related to the pressure and flow rate. 1 gpm at 2000 psi might only provide 1 hp while 6 gpm at 2000 psi might be close to 7 HP. The formula is HP=(PSI x GPM)/1714. You can easily find a calculator on line somewhere. Also, allow for the efficiency of the pump and motor combination. Even at 90% efficient at each end (pump, motor) .9 x.9= .81 or 80% efficient as a system. So a 10 HP engine driving a 8 gpm pump at 2500 psi should get you about 7 hp at the sickle bar. Probably enough. Lots of trade offs in hydraulic system design. Relief valve settings, fluid heating/cooling, flow rate vs. pressure, etc. Running a pump for occasional cylinder operation does not create as much heat at running a circuit where there's a lot of work being done continuously. You'll need a sizable fluid radiator.

Assuming you are using hydrostatic transmissions, it's just a matter of connecting both cam plates together via an adjustable length rod, jacking up the axles and adjusting the length of the rod so both axles operate at approximately the same speed. It doesn't have to be exact, just close. The grader build video on the channel shows the connections and the dozer build series explains the principles in detail. Maybe watch those?

Yes I both axles are off a 1450. Forward axle is ported and feeds the lift cylinder. I attached a linkage just above original location on the speed control, ran to the rear axle. My problem is binding, difficult to ingage and control the speed without putting alot of effort in the control. I was wondering if your linkage is set in a different way. Or how you attached it. Thank you for responding, I will go back and re watch the video. Maybe I missed the explanation. After this project, I am going to attempt a dozer as well.
