How about Tiamat? The five headed DnD dragon. Doing a play that has her in it. Would be great to hear what you can come up with for that! These sounds are fantastic btw.
Maybe a Pegasus or unicorn sound? Those seem pretty cool! (Yeah a little lame but I personally don’t think they’d just sound like horses) Or something like those bird-rabbits? I’d have to look it up. small creatures or prey just seem fun to do.
Since I didn't find a list of the Dragons here I made one for easy mobile access for myself: 0:10 Western Dragon 0:28 Drake 0:55 Eastern Dragon 1:23 Hydra 2:19 Leviathan 2:59 Wyrm
I think the Hydra should do more hissing and shrieking, similar to King Ghidorah. Try mixing together barnowl shrieks, hyena cackle, hisses of snakes(maybe even the rattle of rattlesnakes) and leopard snarls
Leviathan dragon is the most accurate sound of a deep sea dwelling creature since it would mostly rely on sonar based sounds when ever hunting or moving.
Leviathan is good and scary, just imagining a humongous green ocean creature swimming in the deep dark abyss... gives me the creeps. Also love the underwater hummmmmmmm sound 2:41 I can literally hear something like that from a underwater ocean bed sound buoy.
The roar is actually from Subnautica and yes there’s a leviathan like that. It’s not fun to deal with. They’re strong and they can spit molten rock and meteors as well as breathe fire
I like how the Asian dragon has the resonating roar that's very similar to the Sea dragon leviathan from Subnautica. Both send chills down my spine upon hearing them.
0:24 You’re walking in the forest, a cave, whatever you will it to be. Somewhere outside, where it’s dark and there’s nobody around. Nobody to help you when you eventually hear the call. “YOU USED TO CALL ME ON MY-“
What are the source animal sounds for the eastern dragon? I like to make custom sounds for monsters in my dnd campaign and would love to know what makes up that one.
Not gonna lie but the Chinese dragon roar is the sea dragon from the video game subnautica You can even hear the background music in the first and last clip for a split second
2:18 Story time! It’s getting really dark on the open sea. You can hardly see the horizon, the only sounds are the ocean waves lapping against the edge of your boat. But suddenly you hear a disturbance in the water a few hundred feet away, followed by an unearthly roar. It echoes on the water, and it’s so eerie it sends a shiver down your spine. You scan the horizon but see nothing. Then you feel hot breath on your neck, and jerk around to see a massive head with two glowing eyes.
