Best way to check what you need as far as hookup, is just remove your old headlight, and you’ll see whether you need an adapter. I did that with my Freewheeler before ordering from custom Dynamics. I also purchased the 7” Halo. Great customer service also.
I just bought a Custom Dynamics 7" Black LED Halo Headlamp for my Harley Softail Slim FLSS. Quick and easy to install, and with 3620 LM high beam and 2480 LM low beam. I’m very happy I purchased this headlamp.
I have one of these in the I-beam is really impressive but I’m kind of disappointed with the light emitted on low beam, and the halo won’t come on on low beam… Anybody have any tips for me?
The halo should be on all the time. Custom Dynamics stuff has lifetime warranties so you could call them, they have excellent support. As for low beam, mine is wide but it doesn't project out too far. I just replaced mine with their Probeam Adaptive 2, and it's the same way. I'm going to be checking how it's aimed and adjust if necessary.

No, not even close. This is a $250 light. Check put the Custom Dynamics ProBEAM, which is around $450, that's closer to the Daymaker class. I seldom ride at night so I was ok with this one.
@@bluesriderDF so squeeze it at the top when looking in at it and then pull it down? I wasn’t sure if I squeeze it above or below the piece that it snaps into if that makes any sense.
@@dandrumma1 At 3:11 when I say "there it is" you can see the plug. It has a small fin or 2 on it. You squeeze those together and you can use the pliers to push it towards the hole that it's in, while tugging on the connector. Jiggle it, should pop out
