So this is Part 3 of the Shovelhead video. I think i fixed the quality issue so thats nice.
In this video i make my own upsweep exhausts, mount the oil tank, and also mount up a wideglide front end off a panhead. I am using it for now until i get all the parts together for the 33.4 front end. Also i mocked up the rear fender and the seat.
Loving how this project is coming along but unfortunately its on the back burner now! Have a few customer bike videos coming out soon so stay tuned! I do a top end rebuild on an old XLCH.

Hey Mazi, your channel is new to me so i got some catchin up to do...and i would like to chime in on your weld ,this is not a critique but merely a tip so you get better welds inside and outside of your pipes , as you know lack of argon creates "sugar" on the reverse side of the weld to avoid this and have a stronger weld with a more finished look put some tape on the end of the pipe and on the other end fill it with argon so it partially floods the pipe and proceed to weld , the inside will basically look like the outside thus preventing "sugar" and a possible crack within the weld itself.

Hey! Thanks for the tip! Currently working on purchasing a split regulator setup for that exact reason! Just bought a new tig welder and am very excited to see how my welds change! If you have anymore tips please feel free to tell me!

It isn't necessary to back purge mild steel. The weld will be plenty strong without it. Stainless steel tube or pipe will need to be back purged to prevent sugaring and to maintain the stainless properties in the pipe

How did you adapt that tin primary cover to a shovel with a 4 speed transmission kick only ? I am my first shovel chopper and I am using a FLH wishbone chopper frame which used to host a Panhead 4 speed but I am not sure if the inner primary connects into the Shovel bolt pattern

I like the video but the music is way too loud and annoying. It sounds like you got one of your friends fans to do the music for your videos. Just turn the music down a little bit and turn your voice up a little bit and keep it more consistent for a better video. I did appreciate the video though thanks for sharing
