I'm looking forward to starting a ls swap on my 5th gen this summer. Have you decided what your going to do for your transmission tunnel? I was thinking about time conservation and less fabrication work. Maybe try using an existing one from maybe a Subaru. I planned on going to a junk yard with a battery powered sawsall and cutting out enough that I could use rivnuts and have it able to bolt in instead of fully welding it in in case I ever need easier access to transmission. I'd like to go with a t56 cause who doesn't want to say "yes ls swap 6 speed" lol but might be hard to find one at a decent price. So maybe an automatic 2wd like 4l80 something stronger so I can still have room if I decide to beef up engine any.
