Hey this is ScepKo from Vizwar Gaming. I work very closely with Nfreak from Mute City Customs and I just wanted to let you know that they do not make any custom buttons. Both Vizwar and Mute City Customs only specialize in painting controllers or consoles.
zenithSSBM - hey! just ordered my buttons. snow white buttons and shorten length. it was around 25 with shipping and the discount code, does that sound correct n
You can buy used ones on amazon or ebay in good - new condition. Just bought an orange spice and silver one recently. The orange spice was in good condition and the silver was in very good. Upon arrival I was satisfied with both of them. The shells were in good condition and the cords as well. However the sticks were used and dont have that new feel. I plan on replacing them soon with maybe custom sticks or even sticks from other consoles like xbox or Wii pro controller.
I found my old gamecube controller and bought an adapter to play smash ultimate. Now battlebeaver is holding up on casting new buttons. Can anyone recommend another button set from a small business? one for all buttons.
Hey, If I wanted to be more consistent with inputting a pivot in melee, which thumbstick adjustment is recommended from battlerbeaver's? Stock: No modifications to the Mechanism. (Legacy Users may experience small deadzone from being used) Loose (soft): (Recommended) Lowered thumbstick tension, decreases effort to move the stick side to side and lowers the return to center force. (Legacy Users may experience small deadzone from being used) Super Loose (super soft): Lowest thumbstick tension offered that still maintains some return to center functionality. **You may see a slower return to center action when releasing the thumbstick from a shell contact point.** Increased (Tight): Increases the amount of force required to move the thumbstick from its center position. Great for small movements where you would not need to fully hit the shell.
What stick looseness you choose should be based on what tightness you like. Pivoting is a thumb movement (at least for me) idk if you use the sticks snapback or anything to pivot but i believe most people just move pivot inputs with their thumbs lol for that reason there really isnt a best option I believe. I like pivoting with a tight stick but thats just me. Just pick the option you like the most!
While I understand you thought that you will get a bunch of huge black dicks, what actually happens is that you see a bunch of news articles and screenshots from the news.
Really helpful video bro! I just have a quick question. I just recently bought an official GQ controller from a swap meet and I'm in the process of refurbishing it. I've looked into Battle Beaver and I like what I see but what I noticed was that they don't have the 3D joystick that goes under the joystick cap in stock. I have a bit of dead zone in the controller I bought so I'm thinking about replacing the joystick assembly entirely. My question is do you know of a place where they sell those where they don't wear out like most 3rd party ones do when playing smash?
I bought a controller from Battle Beaver at GTX in Salt Lake 2017. The buttons are translucent and have little gears inside the resin It looks really cool, and the buttons feel perfect!
I have a friend Madmorda who makes her own custom buttons and they are amazing! She does them fairly cheap. She has an ebay page and a youtube page. If you look around you can find her
NekaiizLove, my guess is that he either bought an original GameCube controller or he got the sm4sh edition one. Either that or he painted a spare shell
thanks friend! the white controller is just the Japanese released white "Smash 4" controller. Although "Japan only" they were available on amazon for quite some time! unfortunately their price has gone up dramatically lately without a restock happening for awhile :(
@@zenithSSBM My GC controller is also Japanese Smash 4 edition... but it's black. And if I'm not wrong, they had the NA controller as well in the websire I bought it, at the time.
For button pads do you know if there is anywhere you can purchase new tall or short ones? I currently have a short pad but would like to change. I know you can buy replacement pads but I don't know if they are the same quality as the OEM ones.
Problem with BBC is their shipping from the US to UK is 17 fucking dollars, 17 dollars for 4 buttons??? The shipping package will fit through the mailbox!
I found these Zedlabs buttons on eBay for like $3 and I'm gonna assume because of the price that they're terrible. Just wondering if anyone has bought these and used them before that could let me know about them. Thanks!
they could be fine! by the looks of it, it seems they just buy cheap chinese buttons in bulk and sell them under their own 'brand.' In which case the buttons (despite being cheap) work fine! I would just buy from a different retailer if you can find them for cheap since youre essentially buying marked up buttons through a middle-man
Best buttons (readily available): Battle Beaver Best value (if you arnt the most picky on feeling like the originals): cheap ebay button sets. they come with sticks and triggers too. just quality control isnt the best so its sort of a gamble if ur set comes out good. theyre like $3 tho (made a video on them) If you need the feel of the original control sticks, unfortunately the only option is to swap with an official controller. you can find these for cheap on ebay sometimes tho, you dont have to buy new. if your lucky youll find a broken controller 'sold for parts' with a stick in good condition!
you need a new one, im sure you can just paint that tho, its not like that part effects gameplay, just make sure not to get it in the jack and you will be fine
Hey man just saw your video, I am very curious. Would you be interested in selling you clear front shell for gamecube controller? If not, where did you find it?
sorry man, im not selling mine :( as for where to get it, the method i used was just scouting eBay until i luckily found one in good condition for a good price! the market is always changing so check up on them frequently!
dpads from cheap ebay button sets ive reviewed work pretty well! (at least compared to original gamecube dpads which are not the best to begin with) and as far as sticks go, the ones from the cheap buttons sets are the cheapest "alright" alternative available right now. however nothing on the market completely replicates the original so if thats what youre looking for, you need to buy a new official controller and swap sticks (or buy a broken cheaper "for parts" controller on ebay and swap)
Some online stores have them, Pink Padi and Multishine Designs come to mind. Smashproof makes their own. Besides these though its basically just buying a clear controller on ebay
hmm i just looked them up and their link now goes to a dead site. maybe they didnt pay the web host in time or they couldve just changed hosts. they dont seem to be active right now. but they wernt taking orders before they vanished so they might be on a break :(
if you check out one of my more recent videos "How Good are Cheap Ebay Buttons?" the c-sticks in the set that I review there is pretty good and very cheap!
