Hope you guys enjoyed the vid. That’s everything that I’ve added to my piece. The parts will be listed in the pinned comment. #customglock19x #glock19xbuild #glock19x
I just bought a Glock 19x on my birthday. How do you install the red dot on the slide? Mine doesn’t have a mount on it. Do you send to a certain company that does it for you? Or is that a different slide you bought separately?
Just got my 19x for less than 600$ which I was happy with. Just ordered a bunch of stuff for it as well. Can’t wait for it to all come in. The only thing I’m not doing to the 19x is adding a red dot. I have astigmatism in both eyes so red dots are fuzzy and blurry as hell for me. I have to stick with iron sights.
Congrats on your purchase! You’ll love it! Also, If your astigmatism is BAD, you should try using a green dot. I’ve read online that they’re better for astigmatism. For me, I have astigmatism in one eye so the blur doesn’t bother me as much.
I have astigmatisms in both eyes, and I use green dots. You see a little fuzz - but for me, the green is pretty damn crisp. Adjust the brightness too, that'll also help.
I feel like cutting that lip for the mag well and getting a 17 mag well would’ve been better just so you can have full compatibility with all Glock mags but it’s still a nice ass gun
Not a big deal for me since Glock mags are cheap. I actually liked the lip before I had a magwell on mine. Provided a little comfort. Screw the lanyard loop though lol.
Great video & dope build‼️ Been thinking about getting a 19x for myself on my birthday, I’m think I’m gonna go through with it, it’ll be my first Glock as well!
The OEM guide-rod and spring are considered replaceable to Glock. And they'll last a long time. But the guide rod it's self will begin to flex more and more, and overtime it'll stop ejecting/cycling rounds due to the over flexing of the rod its self. The tungsten guide rod - or even steel, in my opinion is a must have on a carry gun. The glockstore tungsten guide rod is nice. You can find them now for around ~60$. NDZ also sells a stainless steel rod with adjustable spring weights for like 30$. Apex makes great affordable triggers too. I'm super picky when it comes to my holsters. Tier 1, T-Rex Arms Sidecar, Vedder, and Tenicor. Rarely will I carry anything other than those. Tier 1 and Tenicor are by far my favorites. Love your setup, looks dope and I'd imagine it's super functional. Check out a Springfield Echelon when you can. It's starting to get more and more aftermarket support, so we're able to trick them out pretty nicely now. For the pricepoint - it's a damn great gun. And super fun to shoot. Apex Tactical did a pretty good engineering dive into it, and that's what sold me on it. Great functionality for the money.
Thank you man! In my Glocks, always try to keep most of the internals OEM…especially the trigger bar. And whenever I do swap internals, I always test it at the range before I carry it. For example, right now I am trying out a drop in ghost connector and seeing if it runs well. If not, I’ll just swap back to my OEM connector or just get a performance trigger if I really want faster follow up shots and a trigger pull that’s more crisp. 🤷🏽♂️
This thing is nice I basically have the same build going on but with a holosun mailbox 📪 and a radian comp . I’m also getting my other 19x ported to compare them both
Get a Radian Afterburner & Ramjet. The barrel isn’t threaded thanks to its design so it’s legal in every state. Look it up! And it’s easier to disassemble. With the one I have, you would need to use a heat gun to remove it since red loctite is required to prevent the comp from getting loose after use. In case if you have a 19x: The Radian barrel and comp only comes in black so you would have to get it cerakoted to match the color.
@@peezyorpj bro thank you so much for this, it’s already a flat shooting gun but what’s wrong with making it shoot flatter👀 but honestly thanks man, ur build inspired me and gave me different ideas
