I would love to do something like this on my day cab, as well as adding a bumper pull hitch to it .

i thought i heard you say you drilled a 1 1/4" hole for the ball. i have always needed an 1 1/2" hole for a gooseneck ball. is it possible the ball is one of the "lower" weight ratings? might want to double check just to be sure?

What did you end up using for the brake controller.

The ball needs to be mounted in front of the rear axle center to be legal. You should check you dot rules before building your own hitch.

I was going to put electric brakes on my t660. What's this other brake system u spoke of? Also do u have a design of this. I would love to show my welder so he can make me one.
