Ive got a fully built 306 flat tapped custom grid cam holman moody ross xl400 pistons 69 model 351 heads ported to death rollers girdles an all hope it sounds something like your build its ready to go in cant wait
holman moody pistons? POst up when its running. Nothing wrong with flat tappet cams. Cheap still make good power reliable No needle bearings to risk being spit in your engine. Going back to a sft when I pull my roller 1 or 2 tenths 1/4 mi Ill never notice on the street.
HOly cylinder pressure batman! She straight up cackles, love it!! Noone at cruise night will confuse a real cam like this with some ghey thumpr THanks for shopping the little guy, USA made! Its old man schneider still around? Roughly what size is it....are you running an advance curve or did you lock out the distributor?
It's a big custom grind cam set up for my combo, prefer to keep specs under wraps for now, nit sure who old man Schneider is...? And distributor is locked out
@@Ljb-cy1mn Call shneider, san diego area. Crower is down there....or Isky in LA. All 3 sell high quality products and know thier chit. Not some kid for a cam marketing giant reading off a spreadsheet. lol
@@jasoncole5020 Your engine sounds killer!! So many are timed wrong, carb way off etc. ever run it down the track? Really miss my 4 eyed stangs. Bought a perfect 86 in 87, and a frame up resto of an 85 in 89....460 C6 rhoads lifters 100 shot. Brutal!
I love the way people put their car at an idle on the tube. So what, a rough idle doesn't mean anything. There are so many variables in a performance engine, idle means nothing
In many cases youre right. Can tell with the idle, exh little rpm we did see this is a stout mill. Guys that say they got a stage xx cam, a goofy name rather than a grind, etc. Those I ignore.
