This is cool man I plan on starting a business building nice boutique amps and cabs for bass guitar over summer cause no one build amps and cabs I want right now and with any luck ki can be the fodera if the amp and cab world beautiful woods and nothing but the best components imma start with a 410 or 210 cab
Scott Polston thank you for the kind words! That’s exactly why I started started building stuff, no one was making what I envisioned. Best of luck to ya and make some kick ass stuff!
Thank you!! It’s more on the cleaner side of tones with a wide range EQ. The model is the Ampeg GVT15H if you wanted to search for video demos. The wood selection on an amp head unit like this doesn’t affect the sound, I just like the look of brass and walnut together! ❤️
Brent Petrie Yes. It was from the stock amp, simply screwed to the inside bottom of the cabinet, then I had to plug in the reverb in/out with the supplied RCA cable to the jacks on underside of the amp chassis.
Andrew Denis Thank you! If you’re talking about the box joints, not really 🤷♂️ A good fitting box joint will swell and tighten itself from the water in the wood glue, you just have to act fast and hold the joint at 90 degrees to be accurate. That being said, I’ve found it really hard to clamp any box joints 100% I’ll always glue the sides separately and then glue those assemblies together.
@@AydDesignCo - Gotcha. I'm sure you are correct. I just became (probably overly) adherent to gluing both sides of every joint after that Fine Woodworking article on the subject some years back. Probably overkill in instances like that. Thanks for the feedback, and again-- really, really nice work.
Lawrence Berry I found my set at Michaels craft store but I found a set for sale online here: www.etsy.com/listing/228997489/lowercase-newsprint-stamp-set-alphabet?gpla=1&gao=1&&Craft_Supplies_and_Tools&:pla-295462056867_m__228997489&gclid=Cj0KCQiA-JXiBRCpARIsAGqF8wVjOBCJLV11YqXQEDZLcuXPZzqBj2sYkyT9YWuaJERvLi8J4FZ1PkwaApH1EALw_wcB
