I just made my first holster. Took a bit. Even with some of the equipment. It's definitely a learning curve. The t shirt press is a really nice addition. I just use a toaster oven and a press I got on Amazon. I kept tinkering with it until I got it to look good. It's still not perfect, but it works. Next one should be better. I made a sandwich style one for my p320 xcarry. I'll make a taco style one for a glock 19 next. I think I'll stick to those. They seem easier to make and they function a little better in my opinion.
Leather might do it due to sweating. Kydex might scratch it off. It's not a big deal tho. Kydex is usually the standard for striker fired handguns. Single action and double action ones can do fine with leather. I also saw some people gluing Alcantara to the inside of the holster. That way it's a little softer on the gun.
On the Gun molds, is he willing to put painters tape or duct tape along the slide and upper part of the frame so there won't be as much friction on that area of the firearm??
I don't think it matters on gun molds. On real guns, yes. Gun molds are already made with the extra parts that you would usually tape to a real gun. Like the stick between the sights and the little piece in the ejection port. I guess it won't hurt either if you want to tape it tho. It's just a gun mold. I personally wouldn't care about a gun mold scratching up. And if you put a lot of tape, when you take it off, the holster will be a little loose. So you just have to adjust it.
Do you know what it is they spray on the holster at the end? I need to trim mine a little to get it to fit with my comp (thought choosing the threaded barrel option meant something different) and want to make sure I finish it correctly
The main problem with these type of holster , and the reason I stopped using them is when you have to go pee. You either have to remove the whole thing or leave one clip on and hope it doesn't fall in the toilet. I went back to having an holster for the gun and one for the mag. Just unzip and go.

Would an impact gun work better with that press design since kydex is a time sensitive material, I am currently completing a kydex lab at Sonoran desert institute and really enjoy your press design just noticed your guy using a socket wrench
I have the 3.8 too, and it's so hard to find good holsters for em. I had Redline Concealment make me one,,, let's just say I will be telling everyone to stay away from that company. If you have any good suggestions now it's been a year, I'd love to know what you got
Worst holster ever very made!!!uncomfortable!!! customer service sucked!!! will not and would not recommend this to anyone looking to buy or interested I will recommend buying llod Mike knows his stuff now that’s product I will stand behind. Hey man. I have a glock 43 build going. First glock 43 to have a large o light badlr pro. I have no luck finding a custom holster for it. Can i pay to have that made from you? Or any suggestions? Cant run the techna clip holster because i use a micro roni to. My ig is @k.smoooth for a response if its not on here!!!! Thanks man.
