Hello!! I´m new in this channel, and I´m really sorprised by the great precision of the details. It´s very dificult to find something like this, Great job! Here is a tip: In my opinion people always forget the sword, It´s really good to the aye that it have more than just one colour. I paint the blade in silver, as the armour, and the crossguard in golden. Beleave me, It looks epic!!
This is so awesome! My first minifig was a Black Knight (who I still have). Still hoping to get their castle, along with that white dragon plume knight! Have you considered giving the Royal Knights an overhaul? While I love them, I feel like they missed out on their potential.
Looks very nice was interested in buying a few from your site but the comments on it mention how fragile these pieces are as they are made of resin and not plastic. Looks good for display but don't want to pay so much for something that can break easily since I tend to store my minifigures as no space to really display them.
I’d say the most play-“unfriendly” piece I currently sell are the belt scabbards. The other pieces, are really not that fragile unless you intend on throwing them around or playing rough. Cheers!
Wow amazing work. Did you make those custom armors and knight visors by yourself? or customize it with what you purchased? And Can I buy your works ? do you have online store? :)
I hope on making my own Black Knights mocs in the future, so I really like the insight on how to revamp them for modern displays. I am usually a Lego purist, but going minimalist is an interesting idea for em. For official parts to be used to give that dragon accent, I have been spitballing maybe using some of the revamped dark titanium gray ninja breastplates introduced in some recent ninjago stuff for Black Knights armor.
Im pretty sure the sword isn’t for sale on your store, but I would also totally buy that, it’d be awesome in animations, ngl, keep up the good work, bro!
Thanks for all your recent comments man, really do appreciate it! So I’ve been a little behind with updating my listings on the store, but I might make commissions available in the future, where virtually any item you see on my store will be available and then some :)
@@socalcrafter No problem, and thats cool, your store is like a castle themed version of Jonak-Toys (a company that does lego star wars resin, and UV prints) and I will likely buy from your store again soon :)
I really like what I saw here. I am not sure how the tech behind this works, but wouldn't it be possible to dual mold some of the items (for example the shield) with 2 different colors - silver and a brown, so you don't have to paint it? The design itself is really good, but I would love to see something as easy to use / make as possible. Second Idea, did you ever think of merging the shoulder guards and the breastplate into 1 item? I understand having them modular allows for more variety in army building, however, there is only so much you can stick under a minifig head before it looks odd. I think having only one breastplate + shoulder guard item would make more sense (same dimension, just merged into one piece, with the neck piece merged for a more streamline integration. Since you're at it with the dragon theme, you could just make the fun things for the Dragon Knights as well (and maybe try out a fancy new and improved dragon mold if it's not too much to do ) ?
I really appreciate your time to write this out. To put a long story short, the dual molding idea is just not feasible on a traditional resin printer I use, so my current method of painting is most likely the easiest process for me. As for large molds like a dragon, it can be something I do down the line, but I primarily work with smaller items which are easier to work with. Cheers!
@@socalcrafter Thanks for the reply. I thought as much (the tech limitations I mean). As for joining the breastplate and shoulder guards. would that be feasible? or does that have some issues to it as well?
Oops forgot to address that part. In my first vid on this channel, I might’ve briefly showcased an armor/Pauldron combo piece. Now that’s something I can do again, but I’ve noticed that customers at my store (and myself for that matter) always like to mix and match different armors to pauldrons, therefore, this current method seems most practical. But I totally see why you’d want a joint piece, especially from a proportions aspect.
@@socalcrafter Understood, Figured that it was about the variety you could make with having them separated. Would it be too costly / inefficient to just have 3 items then sold individually (the pauldrons, the breastplate and the pauldrons + breastplate combo) - as opposed to having only the separate items (and I guess you could charge more for the combo piece as it uses up more material). I really love the look of the breastplate + pauldrons but having 2 layers of neck height kills it for me. But otherwise, it's gorgeous.
very cool, I'm waiting for the continuation of the video with the reboot of two-color armor and possibly cloaks with dragon symbols, I would really like to have such custom parts for myself, but unfortunately where I live, they cannot be produced (
Recolors are possible in the future, but I don’t know if cloth cloaks are something I will do, unless you mean a hard plastic cloak. For that I’m sure there are stores that already sell them!
hey man nice job on the prints! I absolutely love that shield. that dragon has always been my favorite and I hope it finds its way into an easter egg somewhere soon like all the lion knight stuff has lately!
