Glad to see people aren’t sleeping on Reylight. Yes, they’re Chinese made, but Rey is awesome and helps out immensely when he can. Yes, they aren’t $600+, but that means that the barrier to entry for a great light isn’t nearly as high. I love my Pineapple and it’s been the ONLY light I have carried for over a year now. 👌🏽
Perfect test for these lights as the camera picks up the minute differences much better than if you were outside. I for one am now looking at the F3/F2 lights (in 5k emitter). I don't mind the colour and love that output.
I love as simple as possible. My Pineapple is set to ML, 15%, 35%, 100%. That’s why the DC0 is the winner for me. Slim, great battery and output and it’s dead simple.
Just thinking. I would have loved to have seen how your Acebeam Pokelit Grey would have looked in the Kitchen compare against those custom lights. I'm suspecting it would have been surprisingly good, especial considering it's low price on offer of £16.99 (~$20US) here in the UK. Not as nice CRI as the Nichia version Pokelit (I have both), but a lot more practical in terms of just lighting an area. I use mine around the house & garden but my Sofirn SC28 with disco ball reflector is the kitchen area king, mostly tail stander work horse and a surprisingly fine job it does. Was putting the bin out this morning in the dark of winter, it's -4C and everything is covered in frost and with the Pokelit Grey it looked like everything was covered in tiny silver glitter sprinkles. Kind of magical and I had to just stand and admire it for a while in amazement. The Pokelit also helped me spot any icy patches on the path. A custom would probably have done that in a fancier or maybe just more luxuriously expensive way!
Ahh man, you are the second person who suggested I have a NON-Custom light in there as a comparison. Silly me I should have listened. Thanks for the comment
@@flashlightcrazy Well it's an idea for another vid that could be very interesting. Pick a few affordable non-customs that impress such as the Pokelit Grey and compare to a few chosen customs that impress. Or somethign like that? THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW! lol Just remembered my SC21Pro Dog Turd Sausage has a Samsung emitter and your two best customs F3 & Yellow Day seemed to have a version also, so what's the difference if they were compared? I'm sure you get the idea.
Alot of flashlights are beautifully built...do they perform beautifully...not always.....remember flashlights perform a task and i like to work smarter not harder. Choose wisely my friends.
I’ve been trying to decide what size of body to get on the Mcgizmo. Another RU-vidr reviewer mentioned that the 14500 body got stuck on the pants when trying get out of pocket and they prefer the 123 body because of that. You mentioned the same thing about the 123 body. Wanted to get your thoughts on which one pockets better?
