I see. I have a kit built Craft Supplies grandmother clock. She is 23 years old (built in 2001) She stands at 6 feet 5 inches. I bought the case kit from Craft Supplies. The clock dial came from Martin Dunn Clocks and the early version of the Hermle 1151-053 movement and hands came from a local clockmaker in Cornwall (now no longer making clocks) I have noticed the pendulum on yours is very short. It should be a 116cm length for a grandfather clock. 93cm length for a grandmother clock and 75-80cm for a granddaughter clock. The case design is very similar to mine. Yes, even I have noticed the chime rods are out of tune when running the quarters. However, the hour strike is running fine. Thank you for letting me know
@@stuartburden3968 the movement on mine is designed to be on a grandmother clock, as it is using the Urgos UW 3/21 movement made in the 1970s, the case was made by Earl C. Kincaid Jr. in October 1980 (43 years old), the only thing that was missing was one of the chime rods on the Westminster side, I did notice that whenever I put the new rod in the chime bar that it was off tune, technically it’s a grandfather clock with a grandmother clock movement, I did also clean and oil the movement and it’s been keeping perfect time, the oil I used was the Horace Whitlock’s clock oil which worked flawlessly, my other clock which was the New England mantel/wall clock I oiled it and it’s been running perfectly, it was made in 1973 with an Urgos UW 6/68 movement
