I do my best to honor the great Kobe Bean with a custom on Kobe 9s. My first time painting these and it wasn't easy but mamba mentality kicked in and I got something he'd be proud of!

In this heartfelt episode, I embark on a deeply meaningful journey to pay tribute to the legendary Kobe Bean Bryant, a basketball icon who left an indelible mark on the world of sports and beyond. It's a moment of honor and reverence as I take on the challenge of customizing a pair of Kobe 9s, a shoe that holds a special place in the hearts of basketball fans worldwide.
Painting these Kobe 9s for the first time was no easy task, but the unwavering Mamba Mentality that Kobe instilled in all of us pushed me to my limits and beyond. With every brushstroke, I felt a connection to his relentless work ethic, dedication, and passion for the game.
This custom project is more than just transforming a pair of sneakers; it's a heartfelt tribute to a basketball legend and a symbol of the impact Kobe had on the world. I poured my heart and soul into this customization, aiming to create something that Kobe himself would be proud to lace up.
Join me on this emotional journey as I share the process, the challenges, and the ultimate triumph of creating a custom pair of Kobe 9s that honors the Black Mamba's legacy. Subscribe, hit that notification bell, and be part of this meaningful tribute to a true basketball icon.

My 2 favorite kobe moments were when he crossed up Scottie pippen and through a lob to shaq and when he scored 62 point in 3 quarter against the Mavericks. Heroes get remembered but legends never die. The black mamba will live on forever. Rest in paradise kobe.

What a sweet custom... 1. It was the NBA All-Star game in Toronto, following the game I was waiting at the tunnel. As I was standing there in my Kobe All-star jersey he began to walk by. With everyone gathering around yelling for Kobe's attention he was giving high fives to all of the fans lined up in the area. As he was about 5-10 feet past me he turned around and came right back to my area where he began to take photos and sign autographs for fans (for probably around 10-15 minutes). This gesture by Kobe has always stayed with me to this day because it just shows how he wasn't just a great player but was also a great role model and person to many (which was always shown throughout his career). 2. The second moment that I think of when I hear the name Kobe Bryant was his final game in the NBA. As I wasn't old enough to witness a lot of the greatness of Kobe, this game really put a cap to his career in a way that possibly no other basketball player will ever do. Even though it was his last game it allowed for him to be an even greater role model to the rest of the world, most specifically the youth female population in the world by showing them that they can achieve greatness in whatever they desire and giving other youths a solid role model who believed in never giving up on something you are passionate about. Even though him and Gianna are gone their legacies will always be lived on through the people who they inspired such as yourself in many different ways whether it is through sports, art, or being a #GIRLDAD. Their legacy will live on forever. RIP to the GOAT

The moment I will always remember is the warriors game in 2013 where he tore his Achilles and he coulda stopped right there and been a top 10 player all time no question about he didn’t stop because he wouldn’t be the black mamba so he walked up hand shot his free throw there’s a whole lotta other moments like the dear basketball, the 81 point game, out scoring the mavs in 3 quarters, but my second favorite has to be his final game vs the jazz that day the warriors went for #79 but I didn’t care I wanted to watch kobe...thank you kobe you showed us all that hard work pays off and it’s possible to outwork anybody

Kobe's 81 point game back in 06 and his 40-8-8 game in the first game of the 2009 finals, where he then goes on to win finals MVP. Kobe was one of the first and most favourite player I ever knew and impacted the way I play today. Almost every single day, I would watch highlights of him play in his prime even though i'm a celtics fan. The mentality he had to outwork everone makes him one of the most inspiring people on earth. My favorite Kobe moment is nearly all of them, he was my idol as a child and will still be an idol of mine no matter the fact that he is not with us any longer. If I had to pick one moment as my favorite, it would be when he sunk the 2 free throws after tearing his Achilles. Not only did it show the significance of Mamba mentality, but it taught myself to strive through adversity and work harder to be the best every single day. Thank you for this opportunity and I really hope that I can get picked.

First of all, RIP The Black Mamba - Kobe Bryant 8 & 24 and the RIP Gianna Bryant, the heir to the mamba system. The true legend is a hall of famer that deserves a spot in all of our hearts and all of the fans and basketball community around the world. He really shows us that focus, practice and determination are vital steps into creating a successful career and a bright future. Although he was the 13th pick, he would have been the first pick in my draft due to his explosiveness, competitive nature and he mentality of never giving up. My favourite highlights were... 1. When he clinched the playoffs and won the finals single handedly in 2010 2. When Kobe didn't flinch to Matt Barnes fake pass ...He really is the Goat and should be the face of the NBA #Change the logo.

I haven't been alive long enough to really see and admire Kobe's greatness. How ever I've watched thousands of Kobe highlights and I know there's still a ton more to see. My favourite Kobe memory on the court is when Kobe scored 60 points in his last game because I actually got the chance to see that. It allowed me to see a glimpse into the greatness of Kobe and his ability to take over a game. That game made me feel feelings that I can't describe and I wish that I was able to see kobe play in real life but I wasn't fortunate enough to. My favourite story of kobe off the court because I've never seen him is a story shared by Kristen O’Connor Hecht. She was a doctor at a children's hospital and one of the children she was helping was going to die. She asked him what he wanted and he told her he wanted a autograph from Kobe. So one of her coworkers called Kobe and asked him to send over an autograph for the boy. Kobe asked him where was the hospital and he told him. Kobe then asked to talk to Kristen. While talking to Kristen he asked her if he could come to the hospital and talk to the boy. She was shocked but said "of course." A few days later Kobe showed up at the hospital in a limo. He and the boy threw a basketball back and forth for a long time while talking. Later he asked if the boys life could be saved and if he could help by giving them money. She told him it wasn't possible. The little boy had a heart defect and it was too ill for a heart transplant. Three weeks later the little boy passed away. Thank you if you read this and I hope whoever gets the shoes treats them well 💛🐍💜

My next favorite Kobe moment was when his jersey retired , he had such an great legacy , 5 rings , 18 all star games appearances , 12 all defensive teams , slam dunk champ , and 4 all star mvps he even had 2 numbers retired in one night , first to ever do it , one team #24 #8. He was also a great supportive husband and a person who always wanted to improve in life as a person , to learn more to better himself the mamba mentality . A legend. He had the best shoes out and I’ve been saying this all my life the Kobe 9 is the best hoop shoe ever , Along with Kobe 10 high elite and low , Kobe AD , Nxt , Kobe 8 Kobe 11 the list goes on and on he’s 4 in scoring all time he evolved over the years and always got better that’s why Kobe was such a great player , if you were to gift me this shoes it would be much appreciated if I don’t get them then I will continue to watch your vids , because there are thousands of people who want them as well good luck to everyone

Man his final game vs the Jazz boy was out of air and still had that mamba mentality! Also that finals against the Sixers think in 01, only lost one game the whole playoffs, Iverson gave them that work game 1.. Legends!

All I can say is Kobe Bryant was my Goat. I always thought that I would get to meet him I only been to LA twice I'm suppose to go in May but we will see. My favorite thing Kobe did was the make a wish foundation I watched so many videos of him just meeting kids and giving back. RIP Kobe, GiGi and the other 7 people

My favourite (kinda of sad but good at the same time) moment was Kobe’s last game. I had watched for years and him leaving was a sad day, but I enjoyed his whole last game.

I think my two favorite moments was watching him pick Michael Jordan’s brain and KAJ’s brain. It showed how much he loved the sport and wanted to always better his craft. Showing exactly the meaning of Mamba Mentality
