I do my best to destroy a perfectly good vinyl floor kit but somehow it turns out WAY better than your average hackjob. I got the vinyl kit from bjsoffroad.com.
definitely just make sure not to overheat the material. I found that a regular hair dryer was plenty hot enough to keep the vinyl soft and flexible without burning the foam underneath. You can just shove the hair dryer under the vinyl and leave it running while you work.
What happens when you can't find a molded kit for your vehicle? I've been looking and can't find anything to fit. That's why I ended up here trying to find out how to do it myself.
what the actual hell. You absolutely butchered that custom molded vinyl. All for what, you couldn't be bothered to ask for help and figure out how to get it fit right so you went in like a caveman and smeared all that JB Weld crap. You say it looks nice to you well, ok, maybe that's all that matters. It's a look that matches the rest of the car I guess but to me, it's looks really bad.
