Thank you. I have been waiting on this one lol. I love the idea about using the heavier card stock. Time for me to pull out my fuse tool.

Thanks for sharing! Question towards the cutting without cutting all the way through. It seems so easy, but I am scared that I will cut all the way through. Any tips?

Hey! I would say practice the technique on scrap plastic first and be very very light handed-better to have to open it up more than to cut too much! Hope this helps-Happy cutting!

@@ThePaperCurator thanks for taking the time to respond!😊 I see. I was hoping you had a special knife or something. Gosh, unsure if I can pull it off. I am debating getting into project life + getting that tool, you see 😉

Ahhh! I see! I just use a regular X-acto knife! Another technique you can try is finding different layouts of page protectors in larger sizes (like 9x12 or 12x12) and cutting them down (with scissors) to unique page sizes like 6x12. Otherwise, I love the fuse and after a little practice I’m sure you can get the hang of it!!

I use a piece of cardboard with lines drawn on it for where I want my pockets to be. Insert this in the PP. Cut with exacto on the lines. It will only go through the top side and stop at the cardboard. take out cardboard & now fuse just above the cuts. you'll have to work out the fractions of inch for the fuse vs. the cut. make sense? for example, with a 12x12 PP, you can't get THREE TRUE 4x4s. Need a fraction of space for the fuse.

I've tried this, but the seal comes apart very easily. What am I doing wrong?

Hey Naomi- It's a good idea when fusing to go really slow and apply a good amount of pressure during that step! The way the fuse works is by melting the two sides of plastic into each other so if you're not allowing enough time or pressure for the tool to really 'fuse' the sheets, they may separate more easily. Hope this helps! xx
