Army Painter and Vallejo paints work for my wallet, though I do also have some Citadel. But I'm with 'Crafter - If you're starting out and wanting to try painting, but short of pennies; find what works for you and suits your finances. And as for colours/colour-schemes, remember, these are Customs, and not replicas, so you don't have to stick religiously to your reference material - Exercise your imagination! 😃
Can also mix Artist Acrylics with the Craft Paint or thin your Liquex Paint in Jars. Or also try Royal Langly Nickeled Paints in Tubes or tubes as well as using Citadel or Humbrol Tamirya Army painter AK Iteractive Vallejo Ducan Roads PP3 Some Walmarts carry Gumbracher as well Winsor Newton is also good this Pour some in a Clear Plastic Jar thin with Water
