Absolutely fantastic video.. i've learned so much more from watching this almost 18 minute video, than probably the last 5 hours combined of other videos.. massive thank you, and well done
Uggh.. I’ve been having so many issues with the candy2.0 paints. Thank you for this! The intercoat clear between sprays to deal with paint creep has got to be my main issue! Thank you!!
Great work as ever Simon... Geez the paint has come a long way since I first used Auto Air... Ive still got of the very first lot and a few bottles of Autobourne.. Lots of new products out there.. Ive not done any painting for a while, think im gonna have to start doing some soon lol
Thanks for the video, helps us guys out learning a lot. Just a couple of quick questions. 1. How long do you leave the colour on before you peel back the masking? Is there a window of time when it is ideal that helps with the crisp lines/edges? 2. If adding some fine line work on top, maybe some airbrush highlights, Is it best to seal with some intercoat clear first?
Great work as always, could do with some tips myself, I have a guitar to finish, customer wants it to look black with a very light green effect or tint to show in some light, also the guitar is base coated in a 2 pack, would the sealer you use in the video be OK, Dave
I just got a 150 that desperately needs a paint job. What are the legal complications when it comes to painting a plane? (I have professional car painter friends)
