Why did you use duct tape instead of blue masking tape? Blue tape is super sticky and can peel off previous paint layer or plywood skin.

I watched your vid, then used this method with white and blue. Turned out great! Thanks for the idea.

REALLY cool paint job! I want to do this exactly the same way but I have a question for you. What did you use for the base coat? Latex exterior paint or oil base? I used an exterior latex white paint as my base. I always thought you could not paint oil over latex. If you used a latex-base and oil- base spray over it and it has held up, then that's what I'm gonna do.
