This is an in depth follow along tutorial for creating a flower ceiling in Palia! If you want the shorter version head here! : • FAST and EASY: How to ...
BROOKE! I did it with your help and I did it on the switch. It’s tricky, but it CAN be done. Thank you so much for this beautiful tutorial because I couldn’t be happier. Thank you!!
Am I the only one who doesn’t struggle as much to design with the Switch? Maybe I’m used to the buttons but the Switch is much easier for me to navigate & design with. I tried to design on PC and the only improvement was the graphics for me.
I have been so overwhelmed by choice I have no idea what I want to do with my plot right now but I want this outside somewhere. Good tutorial thank you!
You don't need the pillars for inside. just a shelf on the wall. My ceiling is under my tree house so i needed pillars for that... the anchor point. But inside... Just build off a wall shelf. No ugly pillars to hide. Very clean.
@@brookesbits not flush.... but it gets up there. There will be a space. but you wont see it. you can make inside too. instead of outside and dragging it in. AND! when you flip it... the shelf is hidden. don't even see it. I teach people these ceilings day in and day out. I posted mine tree house on reddit. Girl.... LOL! But thankfully I'm a player willing to help others. HAHA
I just accomplished this on the switch. The trick is to make two columns of two wall pieces. Then put two more wall pieces going across. You want there to be a middle section of two top pieces that do NOT have a wall piece on the bottom. Then center your shelf on the two top pieces (with no bottom pieces) and place your column on it. I wish I could put a picture of what I’m talking about here because I know I’m not explaining it well. Not having a bottom piece on your building structure gives you room for the floor piece to snap to the column but not the wall piece. It’s tricky but it CAN be done. It took me about an hour to make and decorate mine.
I've been looking for this one for so long and in the end... It does not allow me to place it T_T I've tried aligning as you pointed out, but it just... does not... :( Thanks for sharing though, if I don't fit it in the kitchen, I might use it elsewhere outside
@@brookesbits @brookesbits alrightie, I made it! I had to place the wooden floor lower on the pillar :) Thanks again for your video and for your willingness to help, I appreciate that
Hey! Correct, you wont be able to use ceiling items because its acting as a 'floor'. I used the homestead lamps! If you want to use a ceiling lamp, you can. You would need to save enough space to place another floor once its upside down, and then you'd be able to place it on that piece. But homestead lamps and the pal-tec ones light it up super nice! You add them when you add the flowers :)
@@JanaMoore-lg7hl Here I tried out the blue lights i think they were from maji market. Any light looks good, just depends how bright you want it to be.
