I designed and built a Queen-sized bed for our new house. it has pull out drawers for storage underneath, pull out nightstands, a bookcase headboard, a cubby for our pets to sleep, and a fully customized foam mattress. Enjoy!

Dude that bed is awesome!! Love the edit! The design is awesome...that pull out platform is awesome because we have a tendency to leave a lot of clutter on our nightstands...this kind of forces you to keep it clear! Great job man!!👊✌️👍

Is there nothing someone could build directly in his bedroom? I mean not all of us have such a amazing garage with all those stuffs :( crying..

You can totally build this in the bedroom! Most big box hardware stores offer cutting services and would make some of the big cuts on the wood you you buy. Smaller pieces can be cut in the room with a pair of sawhorses (just mind the sawdust with a vacuum).

It took a month for my foam mattress to get rid of its smell. Much longer than the ones I have purchased that were not “Natural” foam.

Love this and want to try it this summer! Wondering what size dog(s) you have? I’m wondering if our 60lb shepherd would fit or if I’d have to make it a bit taller?

I have a 60 pound golden/collie mix. He's just barely too big to want to go in the cubby. Our smaller dogs and cats hang out in there all night though. I'd recommend making it a few inches taller for your shepherd :). Good luck!!
