Here is the team at Unsealed 4X4's custom built ex-mines Toyota LandCruiser 76 Series. Featuring a huge list of aftermarket products that have transformed this ex-mines vehicle into a reliable 4WD touring vehicle.
We haven't fixed the wheel track yet, and the GVM upgrade will happen when we do the track width correction. Which will be done with a full aftermarket replacement housing once we decide which way to go. Portals maybe ;)
You asked- so I think the thing you should rebuild next is the motor. Blue smoke through those beautiful twin exhausts ain't good. You definitely bought a sow's ear and manage to turn it into a pvc purse. I hope you don't sell it on to some poor unsuspecting bugger.
I love my petrol 76 Series. Mine is more of a desert runner as I live in the middle east and need to keep it as light as possible. I wonder how much your beast weighs.
A pity all the underlying, inherent Toyota "wobblies" weren't fixed while you were at it, ie mismatched track front to rear, suspensions flex of a brick, turning circle of an aircraft carrier, 1980's cabin appointments and seats, no leg room and an asthmatic 4.5 litre engine with less torque than modern 4 cylinder engines. Oh, and then there is the Toyota tax on parts! But hey, it sounds good!
