Custom Vacuum Lifter for Windshields 

We designed and fabricated this custom vacuum tool to grip and lift windshields that have various sizes and shapes. The tool features a steel and aluminum powder-coated frame, dynamic leveling center of gravity suspension point system, vacuum grip indicator gauge, adjustable air-saving vacuum cups, a primary zero gravity floating handlebar with full controls on one side of the tool and a secondary handlebar with vacuum gripper controls on the opposite side of the tool. The operator's hand controls include momentary center of gravity controls, vacuum grip / release controls, up / down with float mode controls, and G-Force menu controls. The tool is suspended from a Gorbel Easy Arm and G-Force Smart Hoist using our anti-drop gripper safety circuit system preventing operators from accidentally releasing the windshields in mid-air.
