How much does the car cost ?? Why doesn 't Vaydor have windshield wipers ?

@@Vanella_69 I am speculating that because it does not retain the stock windshield, the wiper motors might be out of place and/or would not be able to properly lie on the new screen. Another hypothesis is that the builder decided to keep it wiperless for cleaner look, doesn’t want some gaudy rubber piece messing up the lines, and probably does not drive it in the rain. I did this for a while on my own car and actually just used rain-X and above 30 mph all water droplets just beaded and slipped off when I was caught in the rain. As for price, I think the kit alone goes around for $15,000 - $17,000, and maybe a bare minimum Used running G35 would be around $7,000, finer examples with less mileage will just go up from there. This is not even including the cost of other factors such as material, such as paint (and from this example I am sure it was an exorbitant amount), bondo, fiberglass, tack cloth, sandpaper etc., and that is not even including the charge of equipment: sanders, blocks, buffers, grinding wheel, dremels, cutters… AND welding as well, so you’re going to have to pay for someone to do it, hopefully you have someone that knows how to do it, or do what my friend did and went out and learned and bought himself a harbor freight welder to do it 🤣 THEN you’ll have to factor in the cost of other accessories and problems along the way: I.e. wiring, lighting, new fabricated brackets to join a part to the chassis, altering the rack and pinion steering, etc. AND THEN if you want all the bling, you’ll have to think about suspension/wheels & tires (this will set you back tons, especially if you want it to look right with massive tires/rims filling in the added wideness, you Could always use spacers but it’ll look half assed and unsafe for that offset, and I am sure having that thick ass spacer costs a bit… I’m not even going to mention an air ride suspension!), vertical door hinges (gotta pay at least a grand for some decent ones without door sway, also this shit can literally decapitate you if you do it unsafe), tint windows, sound system, ground effect lights, like controller, etc… AND THEN AND THEN if you want your car to back up its looks, you’re looking at performance upgrades that can literally double the price of what you put into the car: pistons, rods, cams, turbo, intercooler, EMS, tune, custom exhaust etc. also have to think of aerodynamics such as a carbon lip or spoiler (also very expensive as well) Not even including the basic necessities like all the fluids, brakes and rotors (big brake kits cost as much as a used car) car battery, oil (especially synthetic… why do we even do this to ourselves…?) To summarize, price can vary immensely depending on: how much one knows about building a car and has resources and skills to DIY, or buy a turn key package like what Carolina Vaydor was doing, but I think realistically somewhere would be about at least $65K if they had all equipment and resources already, spare parts lying around, really good friends that are equally passionate about building cars (also factor in buying them a 12 pack) and can easily go into six figures as I mentioned engine building isn’t cheap. I am curious as to what the cost of this build was, but that is like asking a girl for her age: you don’t (unless she looks under 18 🤣)

@@Vanella_69 being a girl does not automatically make you bad at things! First rule to get out of your head, second rule is to be enlightened/educated! Obviously you have the eagerness and curiosity to learn! So first off: turbo/superchargers are forced induction, I highly recommend looking up on RU-vid how an internal combustion engine works, then look up force induction and naturally aspirated (N/A). Motors are simple once you figure out how they work!… theeeeen they get complicated 🤣 As for registration, even here in the U.S. it varies from state to state, and we have 50 of them so it can turn into a cluster phuk to even try register the car if you move to other states… that in itself is a headache and also another story (look up registering cars under an LLC in Montana) But since the vaydor is legally a G35, it is able to be registered to that vehicle identification number (VIN) and thus be able to drive on public roads here in the states. Also, Depending on your country (kwon, Korea perhaps?) if modifying a car is illegal, another avenue you can try is registering it as a “kit car” or a historic car or some other weird loop hole (register it as a boat or jet ski even 🤣) alternatively, if you truly love the car so much, maybe move yourself to the car rather than vice versa! try to get involved with your local car people/enthusiast, they can further tutor you in the car world, and perhaps get you your vaydor! Always believe in yourself! Hope this helps 🙂

@suashichkakwon6188 it depends who you brought the car from. for me mine cost around 5k. and idk why this vaydor doesn't have a wiper, because mine do.

@@Vanella_69 HI, built several of these at our shop . . . . the huge slope (angle) of the windshield allow the water rolls right off . . . especially if you use rain X on it. So it just a matter of look and local codes. Some city require a wiper as part of the inspection to make it road worthy & register the car.

good luck getting c8 repaired buddy. vayador/ g35 has ton of mods, ton off limitless upgrades to suit each person. and can all be done at home.

Ya screw repairing a C8 tho I would not show off the engine if I did do this build but it would expect it to have adequate horsepower to match the supercar look. I think 350ish to 400hp would be the sweet spot for this budget supercar. if you can achieve 5-600hp that would be killer! and anything after that might be a little over kill haha@@TrueSkoolMusic

@@Carvida-v1g 350-400 is definitely a sweet spot if you are a great above average driver. I have seen couple v8 swaps and 2jz supporting 1000hp in these cars. they will be in junk yard soon. BUt cool if it a trailer queen for shows and not a daily driver which the v6 is perfect for. Most can not handle big HP in lightweight car. Even the VQ v6 with small upgrades, is good for this car and will sling the back end around like nothing. Being it 400+lb lighter than g35 was + now your lower more ground seat, much much wider stance and went from 10" rear tires to 13"w.
