Custom water bottle cages installation 

I am installing my water bottle cages, but not in the traditional way.
I got this general idea from my friend formerly known as Trike Hobo Steve, now Easyrider Steve (RU-vid channel) on his previously owned Catrike 700.
my added custom idea is to use vinyl floor base board molding, which can be easily purchased at any hardware store; the one side is black and the other side is a gray.
It comes in a 4" wide roll, which can be cut off to the desired length; which I used a 1' long.
I then cut 3/4" wide by 3 7/16" long strips.
These measurements wrap around the recumbent trike frame perfectly without any overlap.
I then used four hose clamps 1 1/4", big enough to clamp the water bottle cage tabs along with the vinyl strips, but not have too much clamp excess.
I installed the barrel of the clamp on the inside of the trike frame so it is hidden.
I painted the clamps satin black applying two coats of paint fairly heavy, and allowed to fully dry a couple of hours in the sunshine.
