It's obviously a special floor plan to meet their need. So nice people have the option to get what they want. The wood is beautiful. Lovely color of green. Love the windows with built-in blinds. Way cool to have enclosed decks on either side to enjoy nature. Really nice. I am sure the owners will enjoy it. Thanks for sharing, Amanda and Randy.
NONE OF IT MAKES SENSE. except the rack on the shower, which would have been great if it iopened to outsuide the home with a lovely sparkly window door.. that can let you hang your washing outside. though a fold down rack on the back side of the house would be great.
@@lisetteem588in 4 season areas that indoor drying rack is great for hanging delicates you hand washed mid winter, and to dry shower towels on. Nothing to stop them also having outdoor lines once in a spot.
I love that medium green color, and it just happens to be very on-point with designer trends of the moment. I've just always liked it because it lends an elegant, yet earthy, natural vibe to a home. If I were designing my place now, I'd want this color cabinets, with a creamy whitewash on the walls, then natural or medium toned wood on the floor and ceiling. I watched my dad antique an old desk in this shade in about 1970, and it's never been out of style since.
I really how this was made. I love that small wood stove and the Murphy bed. Also, I love those hopper windows. I also love that Randy rack and the drawer underneath. I also love the drip drying rack.
This home is perfect for someone who works from home. They can add a fold down counter/desk they can work and eat on, or adjustable computer desk(s) all along the window wall, have a sofa at the end between the french doors, and yes, build on 4 season porches on both sides to expand their space. ❤ I'd add closets and a tall dresser in the laundry room. I'd add a fold down dining table on the front of the Murphy bed for dining, crafting, dinner parties. All that wood! Beautiful multi-functional home❣️
Love this. I would go with a different design but I'm sure this meets the new owners needs perfectly. When you're inside it doesn't look like a container.
I used to work at Depot. We sold that utility sink. And like you I always thought it would be nice to use it in some sort of Tiny Living setup. It looks good and just makes sense.
Little confused about the floor plan they chose to customize. Lol I couldn't deal with my toilet just being out in the open. Very curious what all they plan on hooking to that kitchen wall. There's just sooooo many outlets. However I love the amount of space there is! And the all wood inside is gorgeous 🙂 and the little wood stove is cute too.❤
@@PurplePetunias71 yup. And not to sound gross.. but all people poop. I don't want to smell people's poop throughout my home... Let alone my own. Trap the smell, spray the smell and let it go out a window or via fan. Lol
Ìt would be nice if the container was 10 foot wide...i dont like having 2 double doors in the living room...one side was enough. Toilet not good ...unless yiu were handicaped.
Im really loving the containers! The length and height and the beautiful wood❤🎉❤this custom plan seems to serve some specific uses/ needs. Awesome work Amanda, thank you both. Love the Incredible tours😍❤😍
Absolutely Love all the Timber. Love the Murphy bed. I think they are a fantastic space saving addition to a Tiny home. I really Love this container home layout. As you said, it’s a super practical design. Thank you so much for showing this.
Am sure the owner will be happy for years to come!! Bery nice job..Just finished mine moved in thanksgiving..The mini split is very efficient..My electric bill is 55 $..keep up the good work
Maybe they are handicapped and in a wheel chair and need accessibility? You never know. It wouldn't be my choice but like others have said we all have our own needs. It didn't feel warm and homey butim no desiger. Congrats to the new homeowners and I will say the wood and craftsmanship are top notch!
Thank you. I Always go on every day to see what you have going on. Love seeing you two. I watched you going over to see Twillia’s Tiny last night…and oh my gosh! I was belly laughing with you two …..look at this Randy. Then Randy starts in and says to Amanda, look at this. I’ve seen it before but oh my gosh, I was laughing so hard. ❤
Love the Murphy bed! Just amazing how a container can be repurposed into living quarters; the craftsmanship (as always) is incredible. Plenty of people out there who’d love this, vs paying outrageous rent or sleeping in a tent on the streets.
It's different but it's great that you customized it to the customers specifications. Everyone has different needs and likes. It looks beautiful inside and out.
Wow, I love this one, the French doors were really nice , inside blinds does seem better .and a wood stove that is really neat. Thanks for showing , blessings to you all.
I love the sage green & cream trim. I'm not sure about the black? I think the Detroit floor plan better. This floor plan makes no sense but I can see with two screen rooms built off both French doors but the wood stove would have been better as a corner small floor model? Thanks for sharing to see what other people like. I love the case windows!!!! Drying rack over shower very cool. Laundry room might be more??? Custom built for someone special!!! Great job!!!
3:00 And YesssS 🙌🏾, Am Aware. I noticed It too, That Wood 🪵 Stoves Are a hot commodity within The Tiny Home 🏡 ❤💕🥳👉🏾🙌🏾😻builds. It really does bring everything all together imo. 🧚🏾♀️💃🏾🔥✨
Don't like two double doors opposite each other as not much choice for sofa placement and the bathroom is a waste of space but it proves that you can do so much with a container house
It’s not a living room. I don’t watch TV and I won’t be having a sofa. It’s a more like a foyer to pass from the front porch to the back porch. When I get porches, that is!
Thank you ITH for making beautiful quality homes that people can actually afford to buy. Your business and all of your employees are greatly appreciated.
I think you guys should do more custom homes. There's always going to be folks who like what you have but want it tweaked the way they want it and are willing to pay extra for it. Also it would allow some of your employees a chance to do something different than building the same homes day in and day out. Maybe set up a separate area or building for the purpose when you move your operation from the current location or set up the current building as a custom shop. Perhaps even have the staff from this custom operation available for the homeowners to hire to customize their homes after they are built.
I totally agree, I have seen some amazing container homes. This one doesn't do anything for me and there is a lot of wasted space in the living room with the doors being where they are.
I'd be curious to know the price tag on this unit?.... It's basic layout makes it super cool in my book. Very impressed with the quality of workmanship that evident throughout! Well done!
Not a fan of this floor plan. But they may have plans I am not privy to. I would go with larger living room, no sliding doors on both sides of walls. Laundry room would also hold closets for clothes. Fixed bed in bedroom. Maybe a smaller door so you have egress outside.Love the pull out Randy Pantry. I would love to be a minimalist but it just isn’t in my genes. Cabinets are my friends.
I would definitely move the toilet in closer to the shower, put in a regular bathroom vanity and then put in whatever type of armoire or closet where the toilet is. No reason to have the toilet out in the open.
@@mygypsyadventure3610 - That is a Cubic Cub wood stove, specifically designed and insulated for tiny homes and RV's. You can get a stainless steel wall shield from their website to add if you want it, but it isn't necessary, as the wood box only holds small pieces of wood. Not big enough to stoke a raging inferno in, just perfectly sized to heat a tiny home. They carry a blower fan, a water heater, and many more accessories you can buy for it.
This is a bummer when i found ITH I was really looking forward to a custom built tiny house, and was disappointed that they weren't doing them any more but they keep showing custom. I chose the Charleston model, and it's already been built.
Only if they have a sofa. This is highly customized for someone who has some very different ideas about what they want in their house or office or whatever they want to use it for.
I’m not calling this a living room (not going to have a sofa or a tv). I call it a flex area or a foyer. It’s really just a pass through from the front to the back.
SUGGESTION. PLEASE Single disabled mom. I would LOVE to see a tiny home with kitchen; bathroom and living room; then use a incredabox for a 2 bedroom? I am not looking to tow and I understand that it’s 3 different sections.
In most of these container builds I see this nice wood. I called and they said not painted white wood is standard. Can you still get the plain finished wood? Thank you
Hi Randy, Ace (whom is standing outside waiting on Randy and Amanda), Amanda, Randy keep during what you do. Amanda you sound so much better glad you got some rest and feeling much better. Take care
I wish I could see how the whole set up looks like at one point. I assume it’s for someone mostly doing outdoor stuff like hunting and needs this to be functional. Maybe we get a video along the line, that would be fun to watch.
Can you PUHLEASE do an add a container. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE container tiny homes & although I love your ESP homes I don't know if they're as indestructible as the shipping containers & I just love the industrial look of them. If you start doing an add a container IM MOVING TO TENNESSEE!
3/4/2024 You should date and name this house because it will probably be asked for in the future and 'what do you call that?' 8' foot wide is probably easier to move. This would be perfect if it were only 20' feet long and joined together with a covered deck (super strong plastic, rain proof, hail proof, made for growing vegetables inside). It would be easier for the 20' feet long to move down the road and locate on smaller pieces of property. This could help save 8 billion people and 8 billion pets! This could have helped save about 100 people from freezing to death when the grid went down in Texas (the wood burning stove). For millions with joint pain: the company called 'Fosterry' finally mailed me my sandals and they turned out to be worth the wait (about two months). They have three inch wide velcro straps; they have strong, thick soles that help lower fatigue from joint pain while doing the dishes, etc.; they are great for allowing the toes, etc., to really breathe; they are great with the diabetes socks called 'medipeds' (great for super wide feet) that help keep the sandals cleaner. This sandal would be perfect if it were made out of 'man made materials' vs. leather. 'Fosterry' also sells a mesh covered sandal that is good for people (both are men's shoes for size ten, wide) with a more narrow 'normal' sized foot. Best Wishes to All
