The empty shelves at a Walgreens Drugstore in California were not caused by pandemic-related panic-shopping. The store is closing because of what local reports are calling a spree of “rampant shoplifting.” Moments after an Inside Edition crew arrived at one drug store, a man was seen jumping the counter to take an airbed and walking away without being asked any questions. There are lots of RU-vid videos capturing incidents like these at other Walgreens stores. #InsideEdition

Yeah. Ef Walgreens! When I worked for that company stuff like this went down all the time as soon as corporate policy was to save a few by not having security. Then that's when counter jumpers, knifers, and stabbers became the norm. I worked for a store where we lost 7K of merchandise in one day! The irony is that if they suspect an "associate" of taking $1 from the register, LP would be on their ass within a day or two.
