I am not familiar with any army like forces like the navy and military, but the guy posted a statement and mention how embarrassed he was of frank and got rid of him asap and yeah frank gave an apology for his behavior, but not many people believed it and honestly...it did not sound like he meant it. i mean guys like him never mean what they do and never grow up.

In the military, there is the concept of command responsibility; that the commander is responsible for the actions of their troops, whether they knew about it or not. So if Frank is like the commander, handing off issues to subordinates (Manda) to deal with, if Manda fucks up, command responsibility would dictate that it is still Frank's full responsibility. Also it's his station, his fish. Man up. The buck stops with you, not Manda or Dannie or anyone else.

i know professional chefs should be able to hear orders and do them without slips, but having a order slip to MAKE SURE you aren't missing anything would help these chefs a TON.

That's the thing, look how the kitchen is ran. It's not ran like your regular cafe where each server runs back and puts orders into a machine. This is a perfectly well crafted unit that works in sync. The servers deal with the matre de and cooks deal with the chef and chef and matre de meet to then distribute orders to their teams. I'm pretty sure one table slip is made for each and given to Ramsey so he keeps track of when each order is fired, should be coming up etc. When you do it that long, you know how long each dish will take from fired to be properly enjoyed by guest for next dish etc. Now if the chefs got their own slips, they could fire food before called by Gordon causing issues etc. Also, as a final note they really aren't cooking much at once in the grand scheme of things.

I don't have experience in a restaurant's kitchen, but in one episode, one of the chefs wants to check what is on order. I can't remember what she did, but Ramsay told her to walk up to the pass and check the ticket.

Honestly, it seems like a pattern for Frank to just dump someone else onto his station so he's not held responsible for it. And when someone who's now doing two stations instead of one messes up, he gets his panties in a twist, even though it's his fault. Yes, it's good to work as a team, but what good does it do if you can't work your own station and have others do it for you constantly? This is not team playing, this is having people do your job and passing the buck when something fails.
