At Rudy Raes Bloemzaden nv, we recently installed a new CombiFix and CuttingEdge in their operations, which marks the fourth TTA gapping machine installed in their nursery. This showcases their long-standing partnership with TTA since the beginning. Rudy Raes witnessed the first gapping machine from TTA during a visit to a nearby New York-based nursery, which revolutionized the sector. Thierry says, "The CuttingEdge can process nearly 2,500 cuttings per hour, two-and-a-half to three times faster than manual planting. It ensures perfect planting of each cutting, making sure that they touch the substrate as they should. This, in turn, promotes rooting both in the plug and once the plant is sold to the customer.”
