He's offering the discount cuz he took 5 hours to drive there are you not paying attention did you not hear where he drove from and do you not know where the shop is located
@@truckloadofrhymes1you missed karascrots point. The guy isn't giving him 8.5k back for the watch, so the lad isn't coming back to the store with the money to get the discount.
@@detwinkz438 he clearly heard the guy say the box is fake. The COA is fake. I know you came from a distance but I can't buy the watch till I get it tested. Junior said he can't wait to get it tested. As soon as he heard junior say the place he bought it was going to give him close to what he paid for it. He said go back and take that deal. It was his nice way of saying junior got scammed without just coming out and saying it. He felt bad at the fact that he travelled all this distance with a fake watch. That's why he offered him a 20% discount in the store.
@@ELZBH12you are dumb. He was told the place he bought it from would buy back for 8.5k. No place that sold u a fake or a real watch would buy back at what they sold it for. Use your brain
The guy behind the counter is one of the absolute best examples of what top tier unbelievable good customer service and complaints handling is in the industry. You can't teach that stuff you've got to learn it by grinding day after day and having a passion for what you do. Freaking amazing skills, fake watch avoided, "customer" handled in the right way without antagonising him. Just great.
Really!!! To busy!! I would have been around my man’s house straight away!!something was so dodge about this deal and the way you handled it was amazing. When he said will you offer anything on it was the moment you knew he was not offered 8.5k buy back. Got to give him and his bird a bit of credit as they must have run through what they was going to say a good few times and they had plenty of front. End of the day you tried to sell a fake to a professional. Once again you handled it so well and avoided offending or conflict. Totally professional. Legends!!👍🏻
Everything didn't seem like he wasn't aware. Driving 5 hours to sell a rolex? More worried about work than his money? Then asking if there was *anything* you could offer. Seems like an aggressive little toe wrag who probably treats the misses like poop 😂
There was nobody he was taking that back to.. its sad to see how these scum bags think a shop like this will be fooled when they deal in them all day long.
So cringe when you've just explained all the reasons it's fake and they still ask if you can offer anything for it. No mate, let me say it clearer. The watch you brought in is worthless.
It was the box and card that was fake the watch hadn't been verified yet he wouldn't offer anything based on the box and card he still was yet to send the watch to his verifier
But i do agree with you about still trying to get an offer on something which has just been explained to him there's massive red flags with the box papers and potentially the watch lol
@@macasimmonsno in addition to the box and card he said the watch was too thin. He compared it to a real one in his other hand. So he knew the watch was also fake. He just wanted to offer to get it verified to formally prove it.
@@macasimmonsyou just listed the reasons the watch is a replica. Counterfeit box, counterfeit papers, always going to be a counterfeit luxury watch ie (Rolex, AP, Patek). Nobody in one million years would have a factory authentic Rolex Datejust/Submariner and go out and buy fake papers, cards, hang tags just to sell the watch knowing how fairly easy-to-spot a 30 dollar fake hangtags & card is which would then make any buyer 100% skeptical of the entire watch itself. Even if buyer couldn't find any flaws or reasons the watch wasn't 100% authentic, merely due to the fake documents, they will pass.
Guy obviously kicked off about the first video, because it was re uploaded with his face blurred, but everyone had already seen it. So he has obviously kicked off again and asked for the whole video to be uploaded for context. But its made him look like even more of a 🔔 end. Too late pal youl never be unseen 😂
Why are you saying at the end, not to have a go at the seller? When you've literally put "seller tries to sell fake Rolex (exposed). You're the only ones saying this not us
What a chancer! 😂 Clearly blagging. Who on earth wouldn't be going back the next day to the original "dealer/friend". Work or not. I'd be going back straight away, even for a £100, let alone £8500. It's the principle of it all! Come on, lad. If you have the time to drive 5 and half hours to do a deal, you have time to get your money back. That is if all this isn't council estate acting, on his part.
" just had a wasted journey " 🤔 " can't get watch back to the guy for 2 months " Why not sell it back to the dude for £8500 and then drive to cb store for gold 😅 Proper Del Boy
He was not genuine!! He said the guy he bought it pf would have given him his 8 and half k back! Yet he didn't want to take it back! He wanted to buy gold off you so why didn't he just take the money back and save a shit load of hassle?‽?Yet he still asked what you would offer him on it, knowing he could have had all is dough back! I call Billy Bull Shit!!!!
Customer service at its best, I think he knew it was a fake that’s why he didn’t want it sending off to be authenticated. Nobody with the right mind would wait 3 months to get their money back because they have work commitments, like Tim said unless you’re making that much money in 2 or 3 days drop work and go and get your money back. Good job lads ❤
This shop owner is shrewd and had dealt with this situation with excellent smarts. Always hard to call someone a liar without them knowing they're being called a liar. Its a skill.
Think it pretty obvs he had bought a replica with what little money he had and paid fuel and thought he was getting thousands by deception then reality hit him
My Spidey senses tell me someone knew it was a fake, and didn't buy it for £8.5k. More like £300, Super Clone Grade, and probably hoped it wouldn't be noticed. Some great videos on RU-vid of jewellers falling for fake Rolexes.
I collect watches and a work colleague of mine brought in a "Rolex Submariner" that his brother had gifted to him. I looked at it, put it on and something just didn't feel right. I asked him if he'd like me to check the timing (using an app) 1) it was running a minute slow 2) the beat rate was 21,600bph ...which is totally wrong for the in-house movement for this model. On closer inspection I could see the "ROLEX" writing etched into the chapter ring didn't line up properly either. He was utterly gutted and I felt so bad for finding this out.
That’s why every watch I’ve ever bought I’ve always gone to rolex and no one else !! that way you know you’re getting the real deal I would feel so nervous even going to an authorised dealer because I know authorised dealers have had fakes I won’t mention their names 🤣👍
Gtfo here! Did you even listen to what he said... "Can't give me anything for it today", "The guy offered to buy it back"...why did he drive all that way to sell it for less than the original place offered to buy it back for. More worried about the waste of time, "cant get there because of work" but drove 5 hours to this place. Utter BS. I've got a watch for you if you believe this guy.
@@MashAllahKali It's clear he knew from the way he was acting. You just know he and his mrs had been chatting about what they were gonna do with the £8.5K they were gonna get for their £200 snide.
Why would someone selling a fake Rolex offer £8.5k back for it 😂 seems sketchy. Guy could be legit and not known. Or - Told his bird it was a real Rolex and they needed cash. She says sell the Rolex. Takes it to CBE knowing he will likely get caught but has to play along and act dumb to keep up the facade of having $ to buy a real Rolex. His fake acting didn’t match the scenario. Finds out he got scammed £8.5k and his answer is “ I just wasted a day “ knowing he has to play act angry but should have play acted angry about being scammed for 8.5k 😂
Nah bro he’s talking shit This is why you get guys like this coming into to your store, your way too nice offering him discounts. Way too gullible Clearly he knows that’s a fake
Sad thing is she believes whatever lie he's told her about where he's gotten the watch and he knows she's gonna know he's lying when he doesn't come up with "8.5k" soon enough.
20% off gold the next time they come in is crazy!!!!! Especially as it’s a way of saying sorry, even though all he’s done is treated him with respect and patience!!! Some dealers would’ve thrown it at him, been a complete arrogant prick about it, and laughed at him. These boys were proper respectful about it!!
His story is not believable at all. - Seller offered to buy it back for same price that he didn't take - Drove 5 hours to try and sell it for less than what he'd paid for it even though he had the seller's offer - Wanted to change his investment to gold (if you want to invest in gold buying jewelry or even bullion will significantly reduce your profit) - Doesn't have time to take it back to the seller (who the hell doesn't have time to save £8500?!) This guy is a complete bullshitter
I’m sorry but that guy knows it fake, as soon he says take it back he comes up with excuses not to go back, the first thing you’d wanna do is throttle the guy that sold it to you, but all he’s worried about is taking a day off work that might lose £15 for a days wage at the sausage factory for potential 8.5K, guys full of s###, I would of told him to f### off and don’t try and mug me off with some Thailand special
