I work for Aston Martin. I MUST say, I am so proud to be a part of a company that can make a vehicle like this. I had nothing to do with this car, however, I can say that I care so much for the vehicles I do come into contact with. Top to bottom, Aston Martin is an amazing company.
Still blown away by the design. I saw this exact car waiting in the delivery bay of Aston Martin Nottingham a full day before the new owner collected it. Couldn't believe my eyes!! Also, I was surprised by just how extreme the Valkyrie is - really unlike any supercar that's come before it. Great memories (albeit recent), thanks for the video.
You've got to give a "hats off" to Aston Martin, for in a world with nannying regulations, restrictions and strangulation of anything that might look a bit too much like having fun with a combustion engine, they actually had the balls to see this car through and build it.
@@CarlosVijande how else can you impress passengers? "Isn't this incredible!?" "What?" "It's amazing!" "I can't hear you." (Then pull over as a McMurtry Spéirling and Rimac Nevera overtake.)
Thanks for sharing such a mega opportunity! Of all the reviews you’ve ever done, I’ve never seen this kind of reaction from you. And you were just sitting in the car! Just mega!
No doubt this is going to be one of the greatest combustion equipped cars. Even the "baby" Valkyrie, the Valhalla looks amazing. I think the T50 takes "attention to detail" to a nuts level. Literally.
Brilliant Tim! Smashed it again, you can tell by your face how intimidating even sitting in driver seat is. This was an awesome review and also funny because you could see your face looking confused and amazed by every little thing on the car.
I was feeling the nerves of the you and the engine just watching the video! Can't even imagine what it must feel like in the cockpit. What a truly special car
This car is ABSOLUTELY insane!! It's like a sculpture on wheels from its stunning looks to its amazing engineering just an absolute blast to watch! A lightweight masterpiece with the sheer power of a LeMans racer! Great video Shmee👍⭐🙏❤🚗
This is total perfection. The otherworldly way the charging cable has been spliced together and carefully wrapped in electrical tape was absolutely mesmerizing. What an absolutely incredible contraption. The car isn't bad either.
I wish Tim had covered the other connectors in that strange box poking out of the rear of the car at 6:45. There's a power button, a screw hole and a ?? That's probably the weirdest part of the car; where's its rear bumper?
@@skierpage It's for dragging around kids on a sled. You can fit 3 kids on a sled and a sled into each air duct, should the need arise. "Quickly kids, hide in the aero. Go all the way into the giant tunnels, so the police can't see you."
Always on point with the latest & greatest 4 wheeled monsters of the highway!! Greatly appreciate the grind Tim, from you and all the 150 team! Much appreciation & love from the States 🏁👏 Edit: What a gorgeous masterpiece of an automobile!!
I’ve been following the development of this car for YEARS and could not agree more; this has the potential to be the greatest car ever made. Is there a word for a car beyond “hypercar”?
Why? It failed to deliver its claims, they said it would be less than 1100kg but it is 1490kg . That is 400kg heavier than claimed and it is 1 of the worst road cars.
Thanks Tim for always having the content people want to see. Absolutely beautiful piece of automotive engineering by Aston Martin I think ALL OF US appreciate your walk throughs and your knowledge on what you are reviewing.
A stunning car to hear and see- everything about Valkyrie seems to well thought through and considered in terms of powertrain, design, interior and purpose. Also, just a thought Shmee150- in the future when the GT500 arrives in England how cool would it be to have a left hand drive tour? With all the LHD Shmeemobiles? Let me know your thoughts! Keep up the awesome content!
I think people who own these sort of cars almost seem to be queuing up to let you show off their cars on your channel almost like it’s a right off passage and I can’t believe a lot of them let you drive them as well your enthusiasm never ends you show everything on the cars better than anyone else I never get bored of your videos keep up the great work
This is something I would like to be a part of your collection in the Shmuseum! Amazing piece of engineering! ❤️❤️ I am not an Aston Martin fan but I have to admit that this car is out of this world!
I never really liked the overall shapes or aesthetics of the Valkyrie, but I have to say the colours here have totally changed my mind, I think the yellow and black create an overall shape that is very pleasing to the eye and gives the car it's own clear styling, wow! Thanks Tim.
I never thought it would be more than a concept or racing car, all doe it looks stuning the weird noises are horrible for real, looks like you are with a 60's van on smth xd
Agree, im not sure about the Red and silver details tho... The Red goes well with the black but the silver Is a punch in the Eye for me... I thought about which color could suit better but in fact I think every color would be a bit out of tune with that yellow, black and red details... So probably I would Just remove the silver Lines leaving only Red details near the parts in black
I have always liked the wild look but I didn't like these colours at 1st but as I look at it more, this might be one of my favourite spec. It's just so loud, which is what a car of this calibre deserves.
@@floks6443 I suppose that’s what you pay for speed 😅 I’m surprised it still has a decent amount of luxuries in there, I expected something like an Ariel Atom with a roof 😂
I swear, if I was six years old again and you had told me this car had arrived from outer space, I am sure I would totally believe you. That is an absolute beast of a car!! Congrats to the owner and thanks for sharing.
The owner of that lives near me, he’s got a mega collection, mind blowing in fact, I followed it last night for a while in the rain so fair play to him for using it.
Thanks for this video Shmee, really a pleasure, even you seem to be impressed by this car when you turned on engine. I like it, great british handcraft !
The car is indeed visually stunning, but the sound that the motor makes would keep me from purchasing one if I had that kind of money. However, the owner of the car was very kind to let Tim show everyone his car.
I think you'll find the single wiper is more for aero then weight saving as a single one allows it to be run in the middle of the screen creating less drag
Glad to hear the owner intends driving it, I know it's road legal but expect it to be driven on track a lot. I wonder if he'd be brave enough to drive it to the Ring !?
Love the spec. A little loud yes, but seems perfectly suited to a vehicle such as this. Congrats to the owner for getting it, thank you to AM for building it, and thank you Shmee for showing us around it.
That car with the engineering that has gone into it (Adrian Newey) would just be a dream on track. Hope to see some footage of some of the buyers using these properly on track 🤙🏻🏎
all the owners will probably just store them and drive less than 100 miles a year to keep the value. A shame cars like these arent used for what they were engineered for
I think a valhalla will be a great addition to the garage. Valhalla in the launch colour is just pure art. A green car is missing from the shmuseum anyways. The valkyrie is god level tho.
The color of this custom car gives it more justice. I'd say better than the Dark Green they showcase for this originally. It tailor's the angles and curves of the car pretty nicely. What a beautiful looking car
been watching your channel since your first videos and i really appreciate your work... love to see how u got your business running and giving ppl proper content... now - a v12 going 11k+ rpm...thats fckn crazy!!! :o :o :o i would actually love to see an onboard of a driver pushing this baby to the limit... much love from berlin... blessings...
You need an AMG ONE because with your specing magic, your love for the Black series cars and the fact that you daily drive your SF90 Hybrid like something, It makes sense to buy one even if you sell the senna because you rarely drive it and it's becoming a garage queen day-by-day!
@@Shmee150 Sadly that's the truth.. I guess you can sell the GT8, Senna, GTR roadster, STO and a few more and finance a bit of it... Maybe after a few months later: I Bought an AMG ONE ] My dream hypercar?!
@@Shmee150 it’s also an utter disaster of a car… I doubt I will ever find one outside of goodwood and tbh I’m quite thankful for it. In my opinion it’s not the best looking car, certainly doesn’t sound like it, and has taken far too long to surface as a real production car.
Shmee, you’ve impressed me. I mean seriously impressed me! Not just because it’s such a mad car but with your ability to convey all of that information and details to us almost seamlessly. Awesome. ☝️🇬🇧
Great video. I like several contributors takes on the same car. I'd recommend watching the car wow guys video as its got a lot of hard core detail and a full drive.
This car is certainly amazing. Having said that, the sounds it is emitting are a bit jarring. I also wonder why the check engine light is on? Perhaps something to do with the break-in period?
Saw the Valkyrie at Goodwood FoS and it was the star of the show. Mind you, the Zenvo was pretty special as well, one one or two other things besides, amazing festival of speed.
When it was first shown a couple years back I already knew it was gonna throw all others out of the water. Then the AMG one was announced and I still knew this was still gonna be the one for me. All I need now is a cool couple million pounds.
As an aero design exercise ,it's a lovely thing , as a road car it's utterly pointless , it's not practical in any way and unless every road it is driven on is as smooth as a racetrack , that front splitter wouldn't last two minutes , At it's price point , give me a Rimac Nevera every day of the week .
Watch Shmee trying to make himself heard over the noise in an Apollo or Senna or Ford GT, then watch Nico Rosberg having a relaxed chat with Maté Rimac in his first production Nevera. In 5 years people will laugh at petrolheads fetishizing the noise of fossil fuel explosions in slower less capable cars.
A lot of car companies that makes Hyper cars like to slap the “f1 car on the road” name to their hyper cars. I believe this is the car that actually deserves that title. Such a beauty
Never personally thought the Valkyrie was a good looking car, but it's certainly very impressive. Now I can't wait to see the first production AMG One.
Utterly superb, with all the incredible hypercars from konigsegg, McLaren, Ferrari, pagani, Bugatti etc they have still managed to make a car that's stands out from the rest. What a car.....
