Customising My 13 Year Old Quintrex Fishing Boat 

2 years ago i put a new outboard Yamaha motor on my 11 year old Quintrex boat, due to family, fires and Covid 19 iv only done about 190 hours on the new motor, November 2019 i had a 9 to 12 month trip to travel Canada, Mexico and USA but again due to Covid i have had to postpone the trip
after the above and not wanting to spend a lot of dollars on a new boat when this one does what i need around this part of the coast and the type of fishing around here the option was to spend a little bit of cash on the old girl and get some fabrication work done to customise things i needed and to clean her up and give her a new look
i have put a new Garmin fish finder chart plotter in as well as up graded the transducer to a larger one, i have tried to keep everything simple and functional to give us as much room in the boat to fish from, I have made better storage also given the boat a wrap with a CATCH wrap which is a New Zealand whole fishing company that i do a little bit of marketing for here in Australia
this video just goes through from start to finish of the project and also shows things iv done a little different and also things i found when stripping a boat of this age down and see the wear and tear etc etc
