Very very nice. This is exactly what I would do to mine as well. Great job, looks and sounds amazing. They shoukd make them like this from the factory as an aoption.
I had pulled the whole reflector out and pulled the wires out as well. I ran the wires for the 1157 and put the new Harley inserts in. I will make a video on it the next time my customer brings his bike in, and let you know. Thanks for watching!
@@WrenchesCornerwere you ever able to make a video for the rear LED turn signal inserts socket replacement. I would love to do that on mine. Thanks for the content
Just bought one a few weeks ago, I have same slip ons and sounds sweet! I love what you have done to this beauty machine.. Good stuff, New Sub here love your content.
Bike is looking great man. Love what you did with the blacked out parts. I am going to paint and powder coat the fender trim as well. Can you tell me where you purchased the clips. I am sure I will mangle mine as well as they do not seem easy to take off.
Thank you so much! I looked up my parts on Ronnie's microfiche parts finder. You can Google that. Enter your year and model and find the parts diagram of the fender. Find your part number and you can order your parts online or order through the dealership. Good luck with your project 👍
Right, I had pulled the whole reflector out and pulled the wires out as well. I ran the wires for the 1157 and put the new Harley inserts in. I will make a video on it the next time my customer brings his bike in. Thanks for watching!
@@WrenchesCorner makes some sense. I have a 22 same color but the mag wheels. I thought about changing what you did on that to black. But not to sure now
Hello, sorry for the late response. I have been AFK...I used Rustoleum engine enamel gloss black. I didn't use a permanent paint because my customer was unsure if he was going to keep it that way. So, I also didn't sand the chrome so that we can go back to the chrome if he wants to. I simply cleaned the surface with brake cleaner and a quick coat of flat black primer from Lowes, and then the gloss black engine enamel. Make sure you don't do it on a windy day, or do it inside with a respirator. Also paint on a warm (not hot) day! Appreciate your support and thanks for watching!
