Anything to really add more color to the face does so much to a figure. The exact same paintjob without the stubble looked bland still.

It's a Wargamer Insane Detail brush. I have a video called "My tools" where I go over everything you could possibly know in terms of paints, brushes and whatnot.

Regardless of what paint you got, scratching the figure will make the paint come off. Especially around the joints, that's why you have to prep the joints by sanding them down.

@@VADtoys do I need to do that before painting? Or do I need to prime the figure first so that the paint last longer?

Most videos I make nowadays are live customizing videos so there will definitely be more. As for washing my figures, no not really. I rarely add primer either. I only really use primer if there's a big mix of sculpted parts and kitbashed pieces from different figures. It just makes the paint more consistent in tone.

I think I saw a repaint that showed that its actually a pretty good sculpt but the details aren't coming through cause of the skin tone. Is it the first one with the grey shirt and ammo belts?

I've seen that figure and I thought the sculpt looked really good but the forehead was gigantic. Their Harrison Ford head was top notch though.

@@VADtoys well I stupidity showed them the project. I was cool with one store but this store was a totally different monster. Lol see the store I always went to was close for some reason so I went to the sister store . They where Warhammer to the bone . When they saw a 1/6th trent Reznor and my plan to use the paint. yeah they got a bit .... its not for a project from this kind of hobby. It is . I was not welcomed back 2 years later and one guy still recognized me but kinda gave in . Money is Money. But I got the look of ( why you ) lol . Manhattan only has two stores that I knew of. 77th and 8th street. 8 th street is by fare my favorite. No questions just Money.
