Customizing The Audio I/O Setup For Your Interface

This I/O does my head in! I can get my signal in one day and it works fine. I come back the next day and turn everything on, plug into the same input on my desk and I don't get any level! I have to set it up all over again!

Using studio one 6 and Quantum HD8. I have set up a cue mix, but none of my outputs, except the mains, are playing anything. I get no sound out from those outputs.

I have Studio68c and, as promised, this tut worked for me. I would like to go through a series of similar videos covering each stage of recording, editing, and creating an exportable music file that people can listen to outside of Studio1. Can someone please tell me how to access this info without scrolling through loads of stuff about fx and drum loops, etc. that I don't need.

I have studio one 3 and 5. On my 5 I open up audio setup and for inputs there is already channel 1 and channel 2 highlighted but when I go to add more mono channels they show up but not highlighted like the first 2 and when I push apply they go away and end up with the same 1 and 2 channel mono. It does show the inputs on left side I added but the M are not there and if I add them again and push apply they disappear. Have been trying to figure out why for a week. My Studio one 3 does fine with me adding.

What interface can I buy to mix in 2.1? Or is that even possible? L, R, LFE. LEFT, RIGHT, LOW FREQUENCY EFFECT. Please let me know! Thanks!

Okay, thanks for that. One question though.. I can't seem to make inputs 4 and 5 a stereo input. Is it only possible for let's say 1-2 / 2-3 / 4-5 and so on?

On a Mac how do I set the playback to headphones coming out of the headphone in the back of the box next to the main output.

Great Tutorial, very comprehensive and well explained. I am trying to use a Digico UB MADI box with Studio One. All patching is correct with sample rate. My tracks from my D-Rack One CH 1-12 are not hitting the DAW correctly. I am getting signal from Line 1 from the D-Rack Two which is hitting Ch 1,7,8,11 and 12 in the DAW. I am totally confused on this one. Can you help???

Is your practice of "normalizing" the outputs of the FX processors to the inputs of the interface a constant or do you find that you rewire constantly? The reason for the question is I'm contemplating normalizing the 192 outputs to inputs on my external Avid 11 Rack and Lexicon PCM with outputs 1/2 and 3/4 at the patch bay. This config in Univ Control would be mapped out as default making it really easy to access those units during sessions by way of Pipeline. I never thought about doing this in the analog console world but seems to make sense for the project studio. Looking for your opinion.

What if I can't get all 7 channels to stick? Only channels 1 and 2. This is an audiobox 1818vsl

That is all nicey, nice and I appreciate the video but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to set up one interface for outs like my Mackie big knob and the other for inputs coming in from a zoom L20

What version of studio one is this? Does studio one pro have additional channels for outputs

So im running the Studio 18 24 interface. It has 8 line outputs. I need more with more inputs.. What do i need to get to connect it to the interface so i can set it up more properly?

Studio one prime will let record with 8 channels interface Or I have to upgrade to the full version?

i dont understand what changing input one to input 2 does.
