What upper does that gun have on it? I bought the same handgaurd but the anti rotation tabs wpuldnt go over my upper. I messaged samson and all that got me was pissed off. They didnt tead my message and webt on about the dpms high upper thay dorsnt have the tabs which was completely unrelated to my questio

Upper?? This is a DPMS (Made by Remington) GII 16" Rifle. There is ONLY ONE GII Upper Maybe the problem is that you don't have a GII Rifle?? Remington only made ONE GII Upper that I know of. I know someone that worked at DPMS when this rifle was developed, I can ask, but I don't remember then making more than one upper for the GII Series

@@jacobcombs2269 Depends WHEN this rifle was made, when Randy Luth owned DPMS they only made ONE kind of .308 Rifle, when Remington purchased it, they added the GII Rifle Line, which is an intermediate Rifle. Which Rifle do you own?? Where was it made?? When was it made?? What does it say on the left Side of the Maxwell?? All those things are VERY important to determine which upper you need!! This Video is for the GII Rifle ONLY!!!

I NEVER said I hated it, I actually like it quite a bit, but folks out there hate it with a passion, I AM NOT one of them!! Is it the best .308? Probably not. It was innovative at the time. The fact that is no longer made is a real bummer, there are not that many aftermarket options out there for it.
