Should have seen this befor trying to break mine. I didn't "cut" enough with the utilty knife and didn't secure the sheet with enough force before pressing down and it broke in two pieces. Oh well, at least now i know. Thanks for the tips!
@@HeavenlyFlowers313 After my comment I've been cutting 2mm sheets. I'd say 4mm is doable as well, never tried it but I've seen it on videos. I guess you just gotta pre-cut better with the knife before trying to break it. Circles/curves would probably be a pain in the butt. BUT maybe if you can get a way to secure it very tightly along the curve AND if you get a rigid mold slightly larger than the curve you're about to cut and put it beneathth sheet AND you pre-cut the curve very well, it might work
Tried & succeeded cutting 2mm acrylic. Most important : 2 sides cutting line need to match with less gap to make nice break. Don’t use force to break it, let it break.
So total amateur here. I had a small/medium scrap piece I needed to trim to make it easier to store. I used a power tool. LOL Fortunately no injuries. Thanks for the simple tutorial vid.
