Thankfully these guys all come from a time, where you had to make do and still rock a show, i imagine they have all used worse equipment in their time. seems bad not to have a back up mixer at an event like this though
@@lukeybizzel true that. but i know that feeling all too well I can see it in his eyes every time the fader cap pops off. fucks with your flow especially if ur tryna scratch
Everybody in attendance was bobbing their heads in person, though breakdancing and writing funky names on walls in their minds. The Chemist had made an infectious cure for their old age, using compacted artifacts full of grooves which tell a tale of a rhythm forgotten but still sacredly adored. On a side note, when you hear Edan break through the stylus it's like a genie coming out of a lamp, mighty word wizardry
Super dope!!!! Seen him live in San Francisco with qbert man is amazing! Damn also that's the new technics mk7 crazy new decks, but shit fader knob lol
It seems the better you become at mastering the ability to become a ‘turntableist’ the less people go to dance and more just to watch you perform....ironic really...
That's because DJ's sometimes forget about the music and focus too much on showing off their skills... the vibe and making people dance should be always a must!
I thought those Pioneer P-Lock fader caps were meant to stay on whatever was thrown at them? Anyway a quick fix for this is take the cap off, put blu-tack over the stem & put the cap back on. It's not a permanent fix but will keep it in place for a good while. So dj's bring blu-tack in your dj bag!
Should we talk about the RUMBLE ???!!! Nice promo tecchnics!!! I love my MK2's bought in 1996 but when promoting Technics via boiler room, get the soundboy to resolve rumble issues before the show, that's a minimum!!! A part from that, Cut Chemist, as always, played a wicked set!!! Big up!!!
My Rane 56 mixer would lose the fader button after a while... trick is to cut a piece of paper the size of a few tabs of acid, fold it over the stem, push the button back on and presto!
whoever provided that mixer gets an F. Clunky 4 channel meant for EDM (nothing wrong with that, but not great for turntablist/vinyl sets), (and yes, I know Coco uses one so you can save your comments) with the broken crossfader knob and the giant headphone plug sticking up in the middle of everything ...not ideal. Cut being the professional that he his persevered of course
