Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I also have loc extensions with curly ends and I'm on month 7. I already have learned so much from you. Thanks so much.
I recently color just a few of my extensions honey blonde by my bf to step outside of my comfort zone. This time around I decided to get 8 instead of the 12 and now my hair is about the length of yours which was what I was going for. Your hair looks great as always. Thanks for sharing
I started with 12-14 inch loc extensions as well and March 2025 will make 3 years and omg they’re so long. I’m ready for a trim too 😂 but I’m ready to learn how to retwist my own hair. I’m tired of paying $100 every time I need a wash and retwist and if I get a style it’s easily $160 and up smh
Im 4 years in and my retwist DO NOT last and my hair is still frizzy down the length of my locs even though im fully locd lol i guess thats just how my hair is but i also never palm rolled my hair so idk if thats also why...
Hey question does the loc extensions soften up over time ? I just got some from Amazon and they’re a lil hard but it says human hair I’m not sure if it really isn’t human hair or this is how the extensions supposed to feel at first
In my experience (on my second set) they do soften up a lot. At first they are def more rough and not as flexible but then they become flexible as time goes on.
@@YESIMFUNNY697 honestly I think it depends on the vendor and how the loc extensions were manufactured. My loc extensions have been soft and flexible since I installed them. But in the past I’ve tried some that were more on the stiff side.
