Complete credit to Flurry for being so calm. I wanna share my story, so Teddy gets toooooooo aggressive if someone tries to cut/trim his hair. We had always trimmed his hair at home, but for between paws and underneath we had to go to get it done. And I thought maybe he's getting used to it. On 29th Dec 2018 we went to Brush n Bones in Chansanndra for complete grooming and this was our 3rd time. He was very quiet since return and it's usual that he doesn't speak to us after grooming. But he wasn't drinking or eating anything in the evening. Around 9 pm we saw a small blood stain on his facial hair and rushed him to hospital. While doctor was inspecting his mouth, he squeaked loudly and his mouth started to bleed profusely. Doctor gave him painkillers and he was eating properly the next day and we thought everything was ok. 31st December 2018 the darkest day of our lives came, Teddy sat on his hind legs for 1 hour under the chair with his head facing down. Alarmed we took him to the senior doctor, he was given anesthesia, doctor shaved his snout area, he just touched and knew what it was. After an x-ray he declared a complete fracture on his right and partial on his left jaw. Our world was shattered and we broke down right there. Siddharth would have literally killed the groomer at that moment. For surgery a small plate was required to be installed in his jaw, but due to new year it wasn't available. We kept pleading the doctor to arrange the surgery somehow the next day. And I'm indebted to the doctor for life that he agreed for performing the surgery 7am the next day. It was 1st Jan 2019 we were at hospital for 6:55 and to our surprise the doctor was already done with the preparation. The surgery went up till 12 noon and doctor said that it was a complicated one as all his bones on right were shattered and stuck into his skin and gums, but it was successful. 10 days on drip every morning and evening, liquid diet for 2-3 weeks, but Teddy being a fighter and cheerful boy recovered after a month. After the x- ray doctor was surprised with recovery made by him. Jan 2019 was the longest and saddest time of our lives and I still regret that single moment when we decided to take him to the groomer. Yes we called and questioned the owner Kaveri and also posted everything on fb. She obviously was hiding and also got scared that it may get escalated. She would and never did accept that her groomers did that but for her image offered to cover Teddy's medical expenses on fb and to us personally. This shows her insensitivity, was money our concern! I for life will feel guilty for making this innocent baby go through this pain and she was offering me money. We posted reviews and complained in Peta, but it seems she was already registered with Peta and was running NGO. And some ppl were actually bashing us on Facebook for defaming her image, apparently she is big name amongst the high society ppl. But Teddy's recovery made us forget about all this and we just left it. Ever since, we have been scared to death to take him to clip his nails or shave underneath, but we take him to the hospital where he was attended.And every time we do, we keep reminding them of what happened to him so that they are vigilant. Now we cut his hair while giving him the bath, because he's calmer and more carefree then, but still struggling with nails and between paws. This is when I started finding solace in your videos around Feb 2019 I think, to come out of my depression and I thank you too for that.

I am heart broken Neha. I could feel what you guys had gone through. Hats off to you and Siddharth's strength that you guys dealt with it in such brave way, Teddy is a brave heart, reading this story makes me feel devastated thinking what this tiny soul has gone through. And there are few so called Animal activists, we too have come across few of them in past. When we meet will share our experiences. @@MommyNFlurryTale I always wanted to talk it out to someone who understood my distress. Teddy I think still has that fear and he's become even more aggressive since then, but I'm just happy he became cheerful again and gained trust on stranger humans after 6-7 months.

Neha...its 2am...year 2021 Me, a parent of 2mo old boy (first timer, nvr held a pet in 30years of life Have been searching abt grooming and etc etc abt shih tzu( never knew the breed till we went on search of a lab puppy) Your story, may b one in a dash case. But i always think,what if we are tht one in the dash case next time. Omg, cant imagine my boy going thru anythng of tht sort. Though being a doctor, I never took my daughter to a pediatrician except for vaccination. But vet medicine is a bit diff i guess, so i am scared and dont trust anyone. But atleast his vet knows I am a doc, so wont lie to me right. But grooming....today i decide, as it applies for human, it applies to other beings too...being alive is more imp than being beautiful. Have been treating my daughter, teaching(homeschooling), hair cut etc etc. With a little help frm vet, i think i can do well with my boy. Thanks a ton for sharing Teddys story. My shihtzu is really scared of scissor n trimmer so he tries to b very aggressive... only groomer can handle him ...flurry n kiara r very calm 😘 I wish my dog was also the same ..

Awee... In that case it is difficult. Once everything is normal and groomers are back to action, I doubt we will do it at home, since it's quite a time consuming process and very tiring

Hi, I like your videos since you're the only indian i found with realistic videos and they've been helpful. I have a question : How are your dogs so calm while getting groomed? My puppy is six months old and she is always moving her head and her body so that i can't comb her properly which has caused extreme matting behind her ears and on the tummy. I tried to get her groomed from professional groomers but they were really rough with her and didn't seem to know how to groom her so we stopped the grooming midway and i did the rest myself. The only technique that works on my puppy is that when she is alone with me, i give her something to chew on and slyly comb her with the other hand.

I would definitely not suggest you to sedate the baby for grooming. Take your baby to an expert experienced groomer. Who is experienced enough to handle such cases. There is always a reason behind dog's unnecessary aggresion. Since they are not aggressive by nature. I would also suggest you to find that out

Omg I always cut with scissors for almost 2 hours like that.. nd some times some parts are one day nd if my snoopy don't want to.. it took another day.. so I always starts with a planning to how nd from where nd which part should I cut first to not look like a ugly.. but I want to use trimmer from now on.. .. am searching recently..but with that sound my snoopy will run away.. is there any other products that doesn't sounds like that..

Try to move your finger around the facial hair first, initially he will be aggressive if not done since beginning, but slowly he will be friendly with the touch, then you can try start do the same thing using comb. With you and with the trimming instruments once the trust factor is formed, there will be no problem thereafter

(as our 1st grooming experience was worst bcz of the groomer) Our vet sedates while trimming the face part as he is biting siverly.. V just take twice in a year for grooming as sedating often is not good ... I'm so worried... I goggled many but ur videos are more helpful in taking care of my baby... Tq so much... N need some tips to handle my baby for proper grooming with out sedating n is dat psbl...?

You can find the list of edible fruits for dogs online. Flurry doesn't like having any of them. Kiara loves banana and watermelon. She eats apple sometimes without the skin in very small pieces

How long will it take for their to grow back? I have a shih tzu and the groomer trimmed her hair pretty short something like your puppies so I was curious to know. Thank you for the video

Their hair grow back in 2-3 weeks. Don't worry much. In indian weather condition, keeping the hair trimmed is always advisable. Easy to maintain, chances of ticks and fleas become less. Most importantly puppies feel good and energetic
