10 years in photoshop and i was afraid of Illustrator now am trying to be brave and learn it i wish if there was a way to show what buttons you pressing and shortcuts you're using when you adjust the shapes, overall thank you for this video it's really helpful

Hello, I really liked your Tutorial but I'm learning to mess with ilustrator and I realized that in some parts you did very fast. Do it a little slower so that people who are learning can do it. In the most I loved the bunny!

It seems some people don't have this settings, I would ask Adobe and see what's up! You're not the first person who sends me message about the missing graphic tab :(
While using 3D effects, in Illustrator I might encounter the following error messages and limitations "3D and Materials' effect currently works only on some object types and cannot apply as multiple instances." But you select it all as you add the light effect, why do you?
Hi Sangeeta, there are two material tabs, please check the 'graphics' tab next to the second material tabs, or do you have different UI then shown on the video at 3:13 ? Hope that works! It should be there
If you use adobe creative cloud, you should be able to see if you have the latest version or not :) This 3D feature is available from early 2022 version!

This is so cute. My 10 yo already trying his hands on it to create this art..here i would like to ask what my 10 yo has told me to put in comment: he would like to put some 3d objects virtually on wall shelf as his RU-vid video background. Is this possible?
Are you referring to the mouth? I created a rectangle > make it outline only > round the corner > pressing the + on keyboard > add anchor point in between the line > select the anchor point > delete Thanks for picking that up, I'll make something that's really beginner friendly next time :)
Hey Laura! when you adjust the shape after it's rendered, certain elements like the projected facial feature becomes disproportionate. I would recommend adjusting the size in 2D mode, you can do this by going to 'Appearance' Panel and you can turn on and off the 3D effect there. Under the 3D effect applied, it's still the vector 2D. Hope this helps!
@@adriannewalujo.o didn't work like that, but in the width and height panel there's an option to scale effects and stroke of the shape and seems to have done the trick, thank you for your help anyway 😊
thanks for the tutorial, it helps me so much! Just wondering, can I edit the object again (eg. the shape, the color, the size...) after it is transferred into 3D? can you make a video tutorial about this?
Yes you can! If you click on the element, you can still resize and recolour them. Under the effects panel you can also turn off the 3D effect for awhile. 😊 I'll see if I can include that in the future tutorials!
@@xaraamin Hmm that's odd! before pressing render there is a downward arrow 'v' there are some quality settings to explore, have you checked that out too? 🤔
