Guinea pigs are adorable very intelligent and friendly pets I miss my Guinea pigs always used to squeak at me whenever they heard or saw me and I used to love the way they would share treats together they just loved a strawberry or a piece of fresh parsley from the garden !
Used to have a guinea pig named Pepper. She was a super loud wheeker! We could hear her whistle and squeal from the kitchen! Guinea pigs make very gentle pets and are very reluctant to bite
I have to upload videos of my guinea pig Countess Chocula. I have pitbulls cats turtles and 6 guinea pigs but the Countess is the only animal that makes me nervous. I had to put her in a separate cage next The other pigs cuz she's a bully and a s*x offender. I've had two vets say "I've never seen a guinea pig this aggressive." I originally thought she was male so she was count Chocula but now she's morphed into Countess Bathory like the lady who bathed in blood
@@joannesguineapiglife5515 yeah he did actually check her hormones, but thanks. I went to the vet with a check list of all the stuff id come up with from pig forums. Vets must hate the Internet. I actually found a baby guinea pig outside in the middle of winter. I live in Boston so it gets cold. My pitbull Lola actually found him. So then I was looking for rescue pigs because I knew they couldn't be alone. It's illegal in Switzerland to own a single pig. The first person that called me back had 2 pigs so then I had 3. But I was thinking "this isn't fair to Morrissey" because the other two were bonded and so the Countess was actually left at the animal shelter I volunteered at that week which was weird because we are a dogs and cats shelter and someone just left this large brown guinea pig in a cage in the vestibule. The cage was clean and she'd been cared for. She was healthy. I thought it was a he at first and on the cage there were 2 sparkly "C" stickers. So count Chocula it was. My wife died a couple of years ago but she was like "I never thought that I would have to be the voice of reason when it comes to animals" she actually bit my pitbull Penelope. I have to wear welding gloves to cut her nails.
Thank you for your comment, yes this cage is small for that many adult guinea pigs, but it's a birthing cage, so I could make sure she was feeding her babies and all was well. They live in a shed 7ft by 5ft with 6ft out side area in warmer weather. 😀
Thank you for your comment. 80% of a guinea pigs diet is hay. They had veggies and dry pellets aswell. The mother has weaned her babies and they are all doing so well.😊
Wow! We are only seeing a small snippet of their day....by the looks of both Mom and babies, I'm quite sure they are getting everything they need in the morning and at night.🙄
