It makes me smile to see that the hospital actually let a child(ren) record the phantom voice for the elevator. It's a cool activity for the children and makes a difference for the disabled.

I was born in 2009 and I clearly remember this voice, , and the sounds, and they are recognizable to me, because I go there probably 1 to three times a year

I like the voice. For Kids' Hospitals, they should all have a voice like that so kids can have an opportunity to do something fun.

The floors are colored coded & animal coded. The color of the floors & the animals are. Blue & Whale Orange & Giraffe Turquoise & Elephant Black & Horse Red & Kangaroo Green & Frog Purple & Butterfly

Very nice elevator and voice. But it is a little sad because it is a hospital. Kids could have died there and then to hear that voice gave me a little emotional, but I love how they have a child recording.

Hey Andrew, I haven’t heard that voice like that on an Otis Series 1 Traction Elevator saying “Welcome to St. Louis Children’s Hospital, 7th Floor”. That was unusual. Maybe the voice on an Otis Series 1 Traction Elevator saying “7th Floor”, but that’s okay. Very nice.

Kones with EcoDiscs are the best! They run so smoothly on that nice hydraulic and actually they are really stable and solid + they have a nice voice and nice notification sounds.

Joe Dimaggio Children's Hospital also has child voices in their elevator except that one is a Kone and the child is much higher than the child's voice on this one.

@jamwithmates123: Yes, it's terribly annoying! I worked there for six years, and I can still hear those voices in my head. Some parents complained to me, more than once, that the children's voices were despicable, because they reminded them of their dying child.

At ACH the pink and blue have the the TK voice and those are the only elevators in the hospital that talk
