Review after 1 year of use of the Cutech 10" benchtop jointer with cast iron table top, and recently added cast iron fence. I've used this in my hobby woodshop for about a year, and just recently upgraded to the Cutech cast iron fence.
NOTE ON BRACKETS: Just an addition to the content of the video.... the enhancement brackets that come with the cast iron fence are longer and work much better than the original one for the aluminum fence. The shorter enhancement brackets have the screws contact the back of the fence right at the pivoting point. Too much tightening of the screws and it pushes the 90 degree angle out of kilter. The new taller bracket makes the screws contact the fence at a higher point thus enforcing the fence engagement at the 90 degree stop.
