I love how the parents sleep with the baby in their bed, without keeping him in a separate room like most parents do. It gives the baby a sense of security, love and warmth, and above all, the bond with his parents, the perfect foundation for a happy caring and content adult. When the child is a little older and ready, he could have his own room. Until then, this is the perfect way to bring up a happy baby.

If you can get a good night's sleep like that, and feel rested in the am, power to you. I loved snuggling with my youngest, but if they are that rowdy and you have to work the next day? Interesting that pediatricians don't recommend babies in bed for safety reasons. Not great for "sleep hygiene." Somewhere there are boundaries...

I disagree Eleise, I feel parents should have their own space once baby is clean, fed and (should be) asleep. Parents need alone time, more so after baby arrives.

@@annbrannigan3958 I (and science) disagree with you. Babies need touch in order to feel safe and secure in order to develop healthily. Look up studies of foster babies who were fed well and clothed well, yet did not grow as big nor had the brain development of those who were hugged and touched often. Not to mention that babies who are left alone are many times more likely to fall prey to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Just ask Elon Musk what happened to his first child at 10 months.

Take it from an old granny....make sure that he is fed, clean, safe and put him in his own bed. You can always give him a toy to play with and he doesn't have to lie down or go to sleep immediately but eventually he will learn to self soothe himself. Otherwise you're going to be so tired and sleep deprived that you are not going to be able to function 🙃

@Fire Quaxalotl as if no one else can step in to help the mother so she can sleep🙄. The original comment meant that, yes, while the mother is responsible for her child's safety (duh), that doesn't mean other helpers can't step in so she can catch up on things her own body requires of her, like sleep and food, because she doesn't stop functioning as a person once her baby enters the picture.

That kid is why God made babies so cute!! And funny! I had one just like that. Would not allow my eyes to be closed. Would slap and poke. Now she has a baby. But she will only sleep in her own crib in a dark room!! She better have another one so I see her getting my revenge! Lol But g-baby is a huge tease, so I get some satisfaction.

My son used to kick the quilt off while feeding just like him. We lived in Ireland and the bedroom was freezing but feeding seemed to warm him up. 🥶

Am I the only lady who sees these videos and then kinda doesn't want kids anymore👀👀 I just value my personal space and don't feel like ANYONE is entitled to my body - sleeping or awake - even if it's a baby. Why does becoming a mom mean you automatically lose all bodily autonomy and privacy? Edit to add: Not trying to be negative! This is super cute and all, I'm just thinking maybe if every night is gonna be like this then it's not for me and wondering if anyone else feels the same way after watching these kind of videos.

I love the Asian family that originally did this. They were caring and kind enough to their baby to film this at night with infrared camera! It was done as natural as possible not for clicks and likes.

This baby is not a good co-sleeping baby. Parents should get their sleep. This is depressing. The baby needs to be taught to sleep alone. Spoiled comes to mind. Super Manny please!
