you're 6' 165 lbs, I'm 5'11 190. I just ordered some large split cuts, I'm a bigger build than you shoulder wise (probably by about a 1/4 total width), I'm hoping it works out. Thanks for the awesome video man.
I ordered the Glacier Crew Split Hem and Egg Shell Curve Crew Hem last week. Should be here in a couple days. Looking forward to comparing with my Bylt tees (more fitted than I thought but still solid keepers) and my Cut Tees (my absolute faves right now w/ slight loose fit). These upgraded tees are no joke!! Every man should up their tee game and your videos make it alot easier to take the journey!!
(UPDATE)...Got my Cut Tees today in Large. Unfortunately, I returned them b/c they were too small for me. I thought about exchanging for XL but did not want to run the risk of them being too large for the price. Sticking with my Get Tees while awaiting 2 curved hems from WYR Wear and 1 Forrest green Henley from True Tees. Keep the helpful reviews and thanks for the discount code!
How are these shirts when it comes to sweat stains when its hot outside? And do you feel they're good shirts for hot weather, do they breath like pure cotton, or are they hot as polyester shirts? Great video and thanks for the review!
Finally got my XXL Curved Crew in Vintage Blue. Perfect size for me and that quality is really good. Has me more focused on losing weight more 🤣🤣 My Tshirt game has changed forever thanks to your reviews!! Thx!!
Haha thanks for noticing that!! It’s crazy what you learn in a quick 4 months on RU-vid. I watched them recently too and I’m like omg terrible, should I delete those videos and remake them?! hahah
Oh my gosh i felt the same way at first. It looked kinda cheap and unimpressive but then i ended up lounging in it for like 3 days. The one that wasn’t supposed to pill had a little snag in it right away which is annoying but I’m going to see how it holds up
Too expensive with the Canadian to Usd ,and then 20 bucks shipping ! They really need to have free shipping for the prices of their shirts . I won’t be ordering and will stick with lululemon.
Thanks for the review. I also bought my shirts last year and noticed the pilling around the collar like you. Disappointing for sure. The color (basic black) faded slightly as well, despite washed them per instructions (cold) and with care. Since their anniversary sale is going on now, I'll buy a few more and report back.
Been looking for new t-shirts and I think I'm gonna have to buy some of these, thanks for the awesome reviews man! Definitely subbed, keep the videos coming man!
Hey Aaron, here’s my question. I’m in the market for some nice, solid color tees. Cuts, Bylt, and so on. If you are picking one brand to wear, who are you picking? Thanks! Keep up the awesome videos
Hi, I have a question that I couldn't get an answer to.. The fabric being mostly polyester and Spandex, does it not make you sweat more or smell bad under the armpits? I know I get that from non-natural fabrics... thanks for your help
Great review! I’ve been struggling to find a T that fits well and also continues to fit after its been washed. Did you find they’re shape remained the same after several washes? in the past I’ve had to size up to account for shrinkage. Thanks!
Hi Aaron, what is your chest size / circumfence? I'm also 6ft and 165lbs but my chest is almost 44 inch so I'm doubting between a M and L. I don't like the tight feeling in the arm pits als you also mention in the video.
Mine’s 40in. Maybe go large then. What’s the most important thing for you for the fit? Because the arms might be slightly loose. If that’s not a huge deal for you then I think large would be fine.
Great review. Was wondering if you had any comments about pilling? I wear a lot of true classic tees and the one thing I hate about them is how pilled they get. Do the cuts shirts pill at all?
@@AaronCronk thank you! Exactly the answer I was looking for. I will be buying some t's from them in the near future. Do you have an affiliate link or anything with them?
@@jkiinm np! I’m not affiliated with them or anything but they allow you to create a link to share with others which gives you $25 off your first purchase over $100. That’s in the description if you want to use it.
Good video. Just wondering if you could help me? I'm 5'9", 150 lbs. According to their size calculator, I'm a medium. Would you recommend going with that or a small? Thanks!
Hey Aaron great reviews it's been really helpful on making the decision on what tshirts to pull the trigger on. I liked the style of jeans you were wearing in the try on, I was curious what brand do you usually go with for jeans?
Tried one and the quality was pretty bad for that price. Cheap polyester at that. Tried Wyr after and almost felt like the exact same shirt/quality which was suspicious. Trying Bylt next lol
The key to this video that he notes well is, "for his body type". 165lbs for 6ft is on the below average side. I can say I am 6'4 225lbs and have ordered several of the elongated XL styles, all of which I plan to return with the exception of the hoodie. The fit just isn't what I expected. It just feels a bit too short as when I raise my arms the shirt rides up. Imo its just not a good tee for very tall folks. The elongated is not a "tall" tee, its just a bit taller for the average everyday buyer versus a specifically designed tee for tall dudes. I am looking at Tall Slim Tees instead once I return
Hi, out of curiosity. I’m 5’7”, 170lbs, waist 30”, athletic built. I normally wear size Small Lululemon if that helps to reference. What size would you recommend? I’ve heard Cuts fit slightly smaller? Been getting mixed answers. I prefer a nice fitted look. Thanks!
Bro, do you happen to have returned any orders back to Cuts? If yes, did they provide you their contact detials? I am from Dubai and planning to return AO joggers.
I’m 5’7ish, 31” waist and about 150. Medium is my go-to size, but saw a lot of models on the website who are >6ft tall wearing Medium. Your recommendation?
I think they're pretty true to size so if you like the way mediums typically fit then go with that. If you want it really snug then maybe small, but I think I'd say medium.
hey man, I suck at finding good jeans that look good and fit good. We are similar build what would you recommend for some decent jeans like the ones you are wearing in the video?
Hey man good review I brought some cuts clothing as well expensive but I think it's worth it hoodie was pricey too. Anything better then cuts like GoodLife or zanerobe ?
How would you compare CUTS to TRUE CLASSIC tees as far as durability/quality as well as comfort? I understand the fit of them would be similar. I am looking for a premium tee at a decent price (not the best price). THANK YOU!!!
Lol not even comparable. Cuts is far far far superior. Check out Rule of Threads and WYR. Those are both much better than true classic tees and more affordable than Cuts. I have videos on them too.
@@AaronCronk Thank you so much! They are about the same price...in your opinion, which of the two brands mentioned would win out with just the factors of fit & durability? I'm 5"11' athletic build.
@@jeremyclimbs both are 95% Cotton and fit pretty similarly. WYR is slightly bigger but not by much. ROT wrinkles less. Durability - pretty similar but I’d prob go with ROT.
I’ve been thinking for a few months now to pull the trigger...i think imma get myself some cuts then. Btw i have BYLT tshirts and it’s amazing! Cheaper than cuts too!
Bylt is definitely great quality - probably the best you can get for that price. But for me, the fit just isn’t that good (too baggy especially in arm holes). Just a heads up - Cuts is definitely more slim in the chest/belly/arm holes. Thanks for the comment!
Aaron Cronk i see. Well the one i have which is their drop cut hem and it fits really well. I just ordered my cut shirts today and i’ll wait til next week to find that for myself. Btw i’m quite short,i’m 5’4 and i hoped the small size would fit with my athletic body. I got XS size from BYLT and fits snuggly in my chest, arms and waist.
I’m a huge fan of BYLT shirts too! I do agree that the shoulder area is a little baggy. But I definitely want to try out some Cuts shirts after watching this video
lmao lawsuit for my opinion on clothes? Swear to god no one from cuts has ever reached out to me still to this day. No one’s ever gonna stop me from giving my actual opinion. It just so happens that my opinion changed, but I can see why you’d think that. Do I think they’re overpriced? Absolutely.. but I really do love their stuff.
how do you get the wrinkles out, man? i've got about 10 cuts shirts, and they all wrinkle coming out of the wash. hang drying them on a hanger doesn't shed the wrinkles. they explicitly say on their tags and their site NOT to iron the shirts. i should be getting much more wear out of these shirts, but i don't feel like walking around with long, vertical wrinkles.
Hm I always just use a machine dryer and I haven’t had any issues. I never hang dry anything lol if it was me I’d prob throw it in the dryer on the lowest heat to tumble and if that doesn’t work then I’d iron it anyway because wrinkles are unacceptable and I’d take the risk. When did you buy them? I noticed my older cuts shirts (pyca) wrinkled easier than my new ones (pyca pro).
@@AaronCronk half of them are about a year old. so, i think those are pre-pyca. i dried a few times on low setting, and noticed that one of the henleys are kind of pilling already. that sucks for only have worn and washed it four or five times max. the other half a new and have not been in the dryer yet. i machine washed cold/delicate and decided to hang dry. most of them maintained the wrinkles that came in the folded up package. i guess i'll try again on the low dry settings. thanks, bud!
Depends man. How much joy would a nice shirt bring you? I have some buddies that would laugh in my face at that price, but they don’t value clothing like I do. I’m my opinion they should be worth $30, but that obv hasn’t stopped me lol.
@@AaronCronk I'm the same size as Chris's Lens and I wear a large in cuts. Unfortunately they are a little long on me. I need about an inch taken off 😢
BYLTs drop cuts feel thicker and more durable, but they don’t fit me as good as cuts. They’re a little too big (esp arm holes). Cuts is more stretchy and comfortable too. If BYLT fit me like cuts or goodlife did, I’d prob have every color BYLT shirt.
@@AaronCronk thanks I might give goodlife a try then. I found the same problem with bylt, love the fabric but the arms are slightly larger and I prefer a snugger fit.
warnerc34 goodlife is def the most snug fit. They have a bunch of sales on shirts right now actually. Idk if you saw my goodlife review but you can use AARON20 for another 20% off too.
bro quick question. I'm 5'8ish 155lbs athletic build. I'm thinking medium might be my best fit, just not the elongated style. Thoughts? I feel like small is gonna be too small, I'm just worried about length being super long for me.
Do you normally wear medium? But yea I’d prob go medium and just stick to the curve hem. Pretty sure they have free returns within 30 days so you have that in your back pocket just incase.
Do these shirts make niples obvious? Some materials make them more visible than others. Whats your take on this? Planning on buying a few large. Im 5'9 and 180lbs. Thanks for the review.
Question: Im 5,11 195lbs and I bought a cuts hoodie size L and it was very snug. I also bough a long sleeve L, a bit less snug than the hoodie but still a bit snug. Do the T shirts run small, just right or large. Im caught in between getting a L or an XL due to my previous snug purchases.
Their long sleeve shirt is very comparable to their short sleeve shirts as far as fit/slimness goes. They loosened up their hoodies with the split hem ones too btw.
BYLTs drop cuts feel thicker and more durable, but they don’t fit me as good as cuts. They’re a little too big (esp arm holes). Cuts is more comfortable imo too. If BYLT fit me like cuts or goodlife did, I’d prob have every color BYLT shirt.
I can confirm after owning bylt and CUTS. Bylt is more thick and heavy but they dont quite fit as good. They fit a little more stiff and boxy in my opinion. Still great shirts but i prefer CUTS
@@shawn1928 If you don't have much money to spend, then no. If you're at a comfortable place in your finances, and you can splurge on a few shirts, then yes.
@@HECKHOUND38 nah i got the dough, just trying to figure out if it's still worth the money. AlphaM (fairly well known youtuber) also swears by Cuts, but then he also tries to sell his peeps on bullsh*t MVMT watches. Hard to legit advice sometimes. Thanks for the tip, maybe I'll give Cuts a try. Been also looking at J Crew and Ministry of Supply
@@kiwi22207 I reapplied the shout and was really scrubbing the shout before washing it and after three washes in the washing machine it finally came out but the shirt did hold its shape so i do give them props for that.
Similar, but different. They go a bit higher into the armpits which makes for a slimmer body fit. Arm holes are slightly wider, but not too much. Similar length.
Have you ever tried the next level 6410? Feels just like suede with an amazing fit for like $4 a shirt. www.pjtra.com/t/TUJGRklOR0JHRk1ISUlCRkpJTUdF?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.clothingshoponline.com%2Fnext-level-sueded-short-sleeve-crew-6410.html
This is one of those products that I regret buying and I wish I would’ve regretted it sooner than later because now I’m stuck with it. My biggest complaint is in the material and that is because this is essentially an overpriced compression shirt. So the fit is unflattering on someone like me who has a pear-shaped body; the fit is tight where it should be loose and loose where it should be tight. And then the shirt is hard to style because it’s too casual to dress up, but it’s also too nice to dress down
BYLTs drop cuts feel thicker and more durable, but they don’t fit me as good as cuts. They’re a little too big (esp arm holes). Cuts is more stretchy and comfortable too. So definitely cuts for me.
Appreciate the review. Question for you. I'm your height but I've got some jiggle in the middle, not a ton, but enough that I can muffin top which gets accentuated if I am wearing a shirt that's too tight. Will the Cuts shirts be too tight on my dad bod? 190lbs
